Once it's completely dried, is it waterproof?

Does it harden the clay, or does it only make it more glossy?

Should this go over acrylic paint or mod podge for a shinny finish?

My sculpture is air dried, painted and not baked....I don't plan on baking them but want a nice seal ontop. is this recommended for that?
