Not nearly enough pictures
The book is a nice introduction to board gaming for those interested in the hobby, it contains a lot of the games used to get people involved for the first time. The lack of pictures on most pages is really disappointing though! Also the rules for Jaipur are wrong, so that's not a good sign.

Great topics, very repetitive, missing some iconic games
Love to book topic and the idea behind the book. The information is too repetitive from game to game. The "when should I play" is nearly useless. Some of the best games are missing from the book.

not having pictures for the majority of games is a massive misstep.

Good content but not enough details
Nice book and good examples are provided however I would have preferred more text and smaller and globally nearly no pics at all therefore I ve got mixed feelings.
