Great skates!
Very nice skates! I picked up a pair of these the other year intending to get back into skating. I finally got around to it and dug these out of my closet. Very nice skates - comfortable and fast. I've been using them regularly for the past couple of months and am glad I got them. Only comment is that I'm on the larger size and ended up replacing the laces so that I could fully lace them up the ankles.

AMAZING SKATES!!!
I did SO much research on quad skates... an embarrassing amount, haha... which led me to Moxi skates. I'm not a derby skater, I don't do tricks, I simply street skate, and these are absolutely PERFECT for that. They're definitely meant for wider feet, as the boot is stiffer and doesn't allow for too much tightening, especially at the top. So, it's great for wide feet and larger calves. The plate is quite heavy, so they're great if you're a heavier skater! I did some modifications right off the bat, like switching to 82a wheels, which are harder than the 78a wheels it comes with (better for concrete, imo). I also added toe guards, I customized myself, to help keep them pretty (highly recommend getting some!). Overall, I highly recommend these! They're sturdy, really well-made, and absolutely ADORABLE!!! 🌈🤩🌈

Great skates/runs big
These are great beginner skates. They are a bit stiff in the ankles until you break them in. They also run big so buy a size smaller than you wear! I love these. They are stylish and good quality. Moxi brand is great.

Check your plates
The media could not be loaded. Overall I like the skate. But when I checked the plates one of them was misaligned. Since I have to send it back anyway, I've decided to spend a little more money to try something different and more comfortable. I may beginner skater who is skated in rinks a few times. This is my first pair of skates I've bought for myself.Things I Like:I really love the design and overall aesthetic. That's what drove me to buy the skates. Moxie and rydell have made a quality skate for a low price. I didn't think I was going to like the wheels but I love the wheels. I love the adjustable toe stop. I don't think it's a run of the mill standard toe stop. I love that it came smelling like peppermint instead of plastic.Things I Dislike:Reading the reviews I knew the boot would be stiff but for me it was too painful. These Boots are like a 9 or 10/10 stiffness. The boot would probably break in a little bit over time but for me it's not worth the pain and uncertainty that it would ever give in completely. The boot is already wide but apparently I have extremely wide feet and was still getting pain in the toe box. I have a 262 mm foot so I ordered a size 9. I still had a lot of room and felt like they were too big even after putting my own insert into the boot. I'm a beginner skater so I don't know if this is normal but the sole of the boot concaves where the plate is mounted. I wish there was more padding inside. Since the toe stop is metric the nut is also metric. So make sure the skate tool will fit before you order it.

Great beginner skates!
The last time I skated was either in rented ones or those AWFUL fisher-price skates with the plastic wheels. Therefore, I never really learned and looked like a deer on ice the first time in these, as we all do. Wanting to pick up skating as an adult and lured in by the cute appearance and price, I went with these as a self-bought Christmas gift. They’re EXTREMELY stiff. I grabbed a couple 5-inch ish sized river stones and shoved them in the toe of the boots, a microfiber cloth and a tenderizer mallet and went to town on them. Dampening the tongue slightly with a spray bottle, stretching into an U-shape and blow drying is the best way to condition them. I recommend my method because it doesn’t damage them at all, and if they’re too stiff you’re likely to not enjoy skating in them. Make sure you’re totally happy with the size first, because I wouldn’t condition them before returning them. The trucks are also shipped really tight, and when skating for the first time they were impossible to get going on smooth skate-concrete, so I loosened them 1 full turn.. I’d say they have about 20 hours of wear time in now and they’re a dream. I’m still not great, but they’re comfortable and a smooth ride. You’ll get lots of compliments from seniors lamenting about better, simpler days, and how nice it is to see people picking up a wholesome hobby again. :’) I love these and I’m so glad they were in a price range a beginner could afford so even if they’re in a closet for a while, they’ll be ready for use whenever you’re ready.

Great!!!
Not only are these great for beginners but they're smooth enough for experienced skaters and well made. Skatepark would suggest the lolis or beach bunnies even for a bit more ankle support in the boot but they work for me in the skatepark great. I love these skates. 🛼 Just a classic roller skate and I'm very impressed I have wide azz feet and these don't squeeze. Size is true so don't go past your actual size. I'm between 8 and 9 I got 8 and plenty of toe space and width in the toe box. Def wanna get some guards for the toes these scratch easily. Can't think of a downside. Maybe the ball of the foot could have better padding but I just stick some Dr Scholl's in anyways. Compared to the VNLA parfaits I had these feel a bit smoother after adjusting bearings and trucks on both but the padding on these is better and the support on vnla for ankle is better. These are cost effective and worth the money to wear at the rink on the go or even in the skatepark. Have a nice time skating everyone 💕

I wear size 9 shoes and ordered 9 in these. They are a bit big to start. I wear thicker socks to avoid blisters during the initial break in stage and slowly tighten the laces as they break in more. A great option if you have wider feet, but also tighten down nicely.
