I bought this book for my son who is a beginner.He has never read music before.There is no explanation of any of the music notes it's just straight into music.i would hav thought that it would explain a bit about playing the keyboard seen as it's aimed at beginners. It's very flimsy and not what I expected to get for £7.97.if only there were some photos of the product. I wish I had shopped about .

Not good for children. You need to read music and know the keys on your piano. If key stickers were included with book it would make it much better.

This is just what we needed. Well for my youngest. My older sons are fed up of hearing the keyboard, so it must be good to keep my 10 year old entertained and learning.

This is good for a complete beginner however I would have expected that the pieces would start to incorporate some left hand chords into the music as the pieces introduce more notes to the learner. I will probably have to add them myself for my child when she has familiarised herself with all the right hand notes. (I play the piano). Also as the pieces introduce more notes, it would be an idea to have no printed alphabet for the keys to encourage the child to learn the notes as opposed to read the note as an alphabet.

Great and easy to read music for my 9 year old daughter as she is a beginner and learning herself from books. This book has all the music notes with letters to help if your unable to read music.
