This works awesome to put inside my dog bowl. It helps him to slow down his eating.

My dogs dont seek to destroy, so they can handle lick mats and this bowl just fine. As with anything, use under supervision, and make sure that they are licking at it only. If your dog is a chewer, then why would ya think that a piece of silicone is going to hold up to a determined destroyer? You might want to find a piece of thick rubber or steel instead. Then worse, I see pics here of dogs playing with this (tug of war), and then they give it a terrible review for not holding up. It isn't a toy! smhSame material and thickness of other lick mats. Can be used in the shape of a bowl, or in the shape of a dome. The shape of this adds a little extra challenge and interest over the typical flat (we like those too!).Load it up with some num nums, then watch your dog to see how they do. Start to bite? Then redirect or take away.I have two large labs, and they enjoy a little whipped cream, ice cream, or wet dog food smeared inside. If your dog is new to this and/or is prone to chewing stuff then be doubly sure to pay attention to how they are working this. My girl will work on a treat toy until all essence of the food item is gone. My boy is not as enticed by food stuff, so he will do some lazy licks and easily leave traces of food behind. I think he does best with the flat lick mats as he can press his tongue down and get the food easier. This worked excellent for my fast eating doberman . It fit right i side his metal bowl and made it easy to wash. However my dobie also liked it as a chew toy when my daughter disnt put it away . Lesson learned

Perfect to slow down a german short haired pointer

It was Great until it wasn’t. Received it with excitement. Spread down some Healthy peanut Butter and let my weimy at it. 10 minutes in the peanut had been licked clean, 60 seconds later bowl destroyed. Beware if your dog needs a KONG, perhaps this isn’t the right tool. $15 and gone in less than 15 minutes. This pad is great for small dog with a lot of energy. Traveling with my dog on a roadtrip and pad really kept her busy and entertained in the hotel room.Definitely kept her mentally stimulated until she passed out.Recommend.

The media could not be loaded. Our Frenchie loves this slow feeder bowl. We use it as an extra treat sometimes. I add bone broth and kibble in the bottom, and smear yogurt, pumpkin, and his wet food on the sides then freeze it. It takes him a good half hour to finish it. It's definitely worth the money. I would recommend it. The only con in my opinion is there is nothing to stop it from sliding around as the dog licks it. Perhaps a nonslip bottom would fix that. I don't know. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

Waste of money and resources., poor quality item. It's a good idea, but low quality material, too thin. My dog, who is a gentle chewer, tore this on its second use! I wish they had just cast the material thicker. Or maybe it's just a crappy item?Wasted my money and made MORE trash for our landfills... not good! I can't return it, but would love a replacement if this was a fluke that the one I received was low quality/too thin. Unless they fix the thickness issue, quality control, do not waste you money.
