Five Stars
great coffee, smooth, sweet and worth every penny! This was my first reaction. Now into 6-7 bags later not the same flavor. Seems more bitter. Not sure, maybe older beans? Pity, it was a great coffee first couple of bags.

Disappointed
I was disappointed in the flavor of this coffee. I like African coffees and have had wonderful Kenya coffee. This misses the mark by a wide margin.

A decent cup
A decent coffee but not Kenya AA grade but a peaberry is always a good choice of bean

Smooth and Delicious
I’m picky about coffee. I’ve tried so many different coffees this past year and so far, this is the smoothest I’ve tried. I wish there was a little more smokiness, but I can’t complain, this stuff is delicious and created in me a new love of good ol’ plain black coffee. Next on my list is 100% Kona!

Fine Kenyan Peaberry
Excellent Volcanica Kenyan Peaberry. Winy, touch of acidity, robust. I slightly prefer the Tanzania Peaberry as a better deal with as good if not better flavor. But the Kenyan Peaberry is a fine Peaberry coffee, and it's a matter of taste since both coffees basically come from different sides if Mt. Kiliminjaro. Good job, Volcanica.

Disappointed
I drink a lot of Peet's, so I'm used to fresh coffee with a lot of character. These beans were dry, no oil whatsoever. The brew was bright and acidic, but lacked depth of flavors. One note, if you will. Expected more at the price.

Nothing special
basic coffee. I thought this special Kenyan peaberry would have light, citrus flavors... it does not. tastes like ordinary coffee and nothing special. I brew pourover with a v60 after grinding my beans only seconds before water contacts the grounds. I have tried adjusting grind, water temp, ratios, and brew timing- nothing improves the flavor and I've come to terms that this is just a below average coffee sold as though it's something special. Not sure if flavor could be improved if it was roasted lighter- it is a medium roast. I've never ordered something touted at specialty coffee and gotten this bad a product- stick with intelligentsia and/or passenger coffee.
