You get what you pay for....
Having never spent more than £20 on these things, I broke out into a cold sweat when my better half suggested these. Once I had calmed down, I had the light bulb moment, the reason for needing new ones was my previous approach meant they never lasted.Anyway a few weeks in and these are without doubt the best mills we've ever had, solid build, consistent grind, no mess and they look great.Spend the extra, they are worth it.

This was everything I expected and more. It is a very attractive look for the kitchen or table. Functionally impeccable. Grinds easily and well. The grind adjustment works very well. Easy to fill and I suspect will last a lifetime. Top marks.

1st class, bight the bullet
No dislikes at all with these. Like others before me I have built up to these through a series of cheaper versions but this is the best if dearer model. Little to no spillage of either salt or pepper an excellent grind and a solid feel. The little tray that is available is also very useful to catch very minor grain spillage.As an addendum, My Partner would like to know what pepper is it filled with, it’s very spicy ?
