Good Ointment
Calmoseptine ointment is good for this place (pressure sore?) my husband has been getting above his behind for some time, now. It goes away and comes back. When he was in the hospital a couple of years ago, they gave him balsam Peru for it and it has worked well, too. Before that, though, the place had come back and I did some searching and found this product. It worked really well. So, here we are and the spot, really tiny, almost like a pimple, he says, has come back. He is using this again and it is going away again. This is a generous 4 ounce tube of ointment for only $7.22. I will definitely keep this on hand.

Excellent
I use this on my bedridden mother every day. I only wish they had a larger size to order as we go through quite a bit. I worked ER over 30 years, this is awesome, and I highly recommend it.

Nu Stock worked for Molluscum- keep this for diaper and urine rash
We purchased this as a Molluscum treatment after much research. We saw no improvement whatsoever for Molluscum- more still sprang up every few days. However it's fantastic for diaper rash and urine scald. We've used several other remedies for Molluscum. Lemon Balm ointment, a Molluscum type of chapstick, different oils mixed in with Camphophenique and Bag Balm, a prescription cream from Dr etc etc. Zymaderm was recommended by another DR so we ordered it and tried it. It did seem to slow the spreading. Dabbing it on each bump (probably 40 or 50 of them on his legs and one on his arm) morning and night is time consuming for a busy 6 year old. After almost 3 weeks not much improvement. Bathing in essential oils and epson salts with tea tree oil (if you mix the oil with epson salts first they absorb in the tub water instead of floating on top if not mixed first). Since we use Nu Stock (either Pierce's Nu Stock or Durvet Nu Stock they're the same) I decided to try it one night. Dabbing a bit on each bump with a q tip. The next morning they were down 30 to 50%. The tiniest ones could no longer be felt! Did again the next morning and they are all down at least 50% with no new bumps. Nu Stock is safe for all species (even cats!) and works well on humans. Smells strongly of sulfur but with the disappearing bumps you won't mind at all! If you know anyone with livestock ask for a shot glass full- or just buy it. It's 17.99 for like a pound container on Amazon or a little less at Tractor Supply. Best thing I've seen after months and months of fighting it and buying all sorts of expensive "remedies" that failed.

PAINFUL Anal Fissure
Soooo, I got an anal fissure from probably pushing too hard during a bowel movement or from wiping too much (sorry for the personal info). I didn’t know exactly what it was because I also have a tiny, tiny hemorrhoid from being pregnant. When I had any pain “down there”, I thought it was just my hemorrhoid acting up. After months of it getting worse (about a year), I started researching fissures. My symptoms were spot on. I went to see a internist at the recommendation of my doc and he gave me all the traditional ideas to try (sitz baths, fiber, etc.). On top of that, I purchased $500 suppositories, hundreds of dollars in creams that claimed to heal fissures, a donut pillow, a fissure pillow and even tried different yoga poses as suggested on blogs. NOTHING worked. On a scale of 1-10 for pain, I was a 20! No joke. I hated to eat because that would mean I would have to go the bathroom. I had lost about 8 pounds in about 2 weeks. It was ruining the quality of my life. I ended up at my GP’s office, crying, thinking I was going to live with this forever or have to have surgery. Depending on the day, I was pretty much couch ridden, popping ibuprofen. I read on one blog that a man had tried Calmoseptine. I thought no way would a $7.50 cream help. I tried it though and it has been life-changing. I really mean it. It took about a week before I noticed a difference, but now I am about 85% better. I am not back to 100%, but anyone with a fissure knows that 85% better is a dream. I have been using it for a month religiously, and I will never be without it. I had tried Desitin without success which has the zinc as well, but for some reason, Calmoseptine is doing the trick. I totally KNOW the complete misery a fissure causes, and I recommend Calmoseptine hands-down. My life is basically back to normal. The cream is thick and messy (don’t expect that your sexy underwear won’t suffer), but it’s totally worth it. I wish I would have found Calmoseptine a year ago. I’m still crossing my fingers that it will completely heal and really believe that Calmoseptine has made the difference.

A great product for wasp stings!
We have paper wasps that swarm in the area and last year and this year two family members were stung multiple times by the swarm. We immediately covered the stings in Calmoseptine and it really reduced the burning pain and calmed the redness and swelling. We reapplied the cream about every 8 hours. It helped more than any other otc we've ever tried. Great Product!
