Great Sunscreen
Very light formula does have a light white cast when it is just applied but goes away in about 1 to 2 minutes after application

Great everyday sun protection
I use this everyday under my makeup to protect my face from sun damage. It works great! It does have a white cast to it, but I put it on under my tinted moisturizer and it's not noticeable. It doesn't make my skin feel greasy and I like that it's a mineral sunscreen.

Good sunscreen for sensitive skin, but leaves a bit of a white cast
I’ve been using this sunscreen for a couple of weeks and overall I’m happy with it. The texture is lightweight, not greasy, and it blends fairly well compared to a lot of other mineral sunscreens I’ve tried. I have sensitive skin and this one doesn’t sting or cause any irritation, which is a big plus. That said, it does leave a slight white cast, especially if I apply a bit more on my face, so it may be more noticeable on medium to darker skin tones. It also takes a minute or two to rub in completely. Still, the protection feels solid, and I like that it’s fragrance-free and dermatologist recommended.Overall, a very good everyday sunscreen if you don’t mind a little extra blending.

Goes on So smoothly!
I recently started retinol and knew that I needed to find something with a good amount of SPF quickly. The thing is, I can't stand scented lotions on my face, and I have very sensitive eyes, so most sunblock burns me. I also can't stand greasy textures on my face. So, after some research, I came across this Cetaphil product and figured I'd give it a try.I was SO pleasantly surprised to find that this mineral sunscreen went on super smoothly. It's unscented. It dries quickly and doesn't leave any sort of greasy residue. There is the FAINTEST hint of white residue left behind, but for my fair skin, it's not noticeable.I love how lightweight the formula is, and this particular size bottle is great for throwing in your purse or for a few days of travel in the travel bag. Just beware- watch your sizes! I actually meant to buy a larger size (and now, I definitely will when this runs out), but I wasn't paying attention. As far as I can tell, it has been very effective so far since I haven't been burned yet. However, it's winter here, and it's been cold, so I haven't had a ton of sun exposure lately to really test that out. So, TBD on its efficacy in the sun or with a lot of sweating.

AMAZING for redness problems, soothing, light, slightly astringent, water/exercise compatible.
I have extremely fair and sun-sensitive skin that's also very red even without sun exposure. Have even had a basil cell carcinoma removed from my cheek. Years ago, my dermatologist recommended that I find a non-chemical sunscreen. I have spent a very long time comparing them, including Elta MD and some very expensive brands. In my opinion, this Cetaphil zinc oxide face product is not only the best value, but also the best quality product for my particular needs. This stuff is VERY skin-specific, so let me tell you what's good and bad.+ unlike chemical sunscreens, this one has a zinc oxide base that makes it surprisingly soothing+ it's awesome for redness generally and really helps tone mine down, even out of the sun+ it's awesome for oily skin, as the zinc oxide is slightly astringent and helps keep a nice matte look+ it's liquid and non-greasy+ it's water resistant and great for exercise--a characteristic I always associated with much sticker and thicker products+ not cheap, but it crushes upmarket competitors- it's not going to be pleasing to all skin types. This product is a miracle for pale-to-red skin and people like me who look ridiculous with a tinted mineral sunscreen. If you have darker skin, you may find the softening and whitening comes off more as a cast. Consider Cetaphil's tinted mineral stuff instead. In my opinion, the brand quality and value are superb and some of the best in the industry.

White cast, transfers to clothing and other surfaces even after it dries
This sunscreen goes on smoothly and does not irritate my super sensitive skin. It rubs in pretty well and doesn’t make my skin feel sticky or tacky once it dries. However, it does leave a noticeable white cast, even if you shake it before use and rub it in as well as possible. After it appeared to be completely dry, it also rubbed off on my leather purse, clothing, and car armrest.

Great product, make-up does not pill on top of this sunblock
Really liking it so far. A thin formula that has a very slight white cast immediately afer applying but dissappears on me in moments. I do have a fairer complection so that may help. Has protected my skin and does not sting my eyes!!!!

My current favorite sunscreen
This has been my go to sunscreen for a couple years. The liquid formula makes it very easy to apply and it's lightweight enough that I don't feel like I'm wearing a mask of sunscreen when I put on the full recommended amount. It doesn't make my skin feel greasy but does still leave a bit of shine that I typically use a translucent powder to cover.I can't use the typical chemical filters so I love that this is mineral based and the liquid formula limits the white cast. But it DOES still leave a white cast and as such may not be suitable for those with darker skin.
