Analog Stick Thumb Cap Replacement for Nintendo New 3DS XL LL Gray

Direct fit and easy replacement on the New3DS XL. This one is solid plastic. The OEM thumbstick cap has a plastic core with soft rubber to give a better grip - which it does an admirable job of. However, the thin plastic core makes it very susceptible to breakage. When it does break, I suggest replacing with one of these - nice and solid.

I thought this was a loose fit at first but I actually prefer it to the original because it doesn't get stuck and the non slip surface is definitely an improvement over the original one.

Slippery, no grip. Height is higher than original. Prevents 3ds from complete closure.

Good quality part but the texture on this thing is a rough type of hard plastic and not the soft touch grippy rubber you might be used to with the OEM bit. Overall I'm happy. Found a replacement guide on ifixit and it went smoothly. Might find your texture memory on your thumb doesn't immediately warm up to the new feeling but it gets there eventually- just wait her out.

I dislike that I tried to get this for a 3ds xl and it does not fit. It's too small to fit on the stick itself. I had to place another order to get the mechanism to switch out so that this product could be used. Aside from that, it is as described by seller visually. However, there should be a view from the bottom so people don't have to go through the hassles that I went through.

Fits perfectly and feels so much better than the original analog stick!

No directions couldn't get on

stick is all plastic, no rubber which makes me think it will last longer. Feels very good. Color is a lighter gray than in the picture. Didn't take very long to install.
