Happy purchase
After taking our car to a local garage who wanted to keep the car in overnight to assess the level of work needed and being told about what they might find, we checked on line and found some great tutorial videos showing us step by step how to repair the 2 front seats that were no longer tilting forward. We deliberated, read all the reviews and took the plunge. Bought these replacement parts for a Mk6 Ford Fiesta 2008 and within 20 minutes the seats were working as new and at a fraction of the price that the car dealer would have charged us. Tools needed, 2 flat head screwdrivers and a pair of bottle nosed pliers. Easy job, good fit and would definitely buy again

Did what it said on the box
My car is 17 yrs old now but so long as it passes it’s MOT and it works that’s fine. The seat tilt was broken by my husband and just taped down non functional (not his car). I went online bought this pair as I might need the other side considering the age. These arrived promptly, well packaged and were very affordable. I tried to fit them myself watching tube but in the end asked my husband (will fit next one if needed). Fitted in under 5 minutes and working perfectly. Obviously having prime I get free postage 95% of the time and that’s another plus. I have only put 4 stars as they have only been on a week but can always update that.

RH side tends to come apart due to bad design.
The moulding for the right hand housing is just an invert of the other side, but they didn't invert the handle part the same way so the recess for the spring is in the wrong place leading to the RH handle tending to pop out. I managed to swap the original handle which was fortunately intact (the housing being the part that tends to break) but if yours is broken you will be stuck.

Amazing value
Really easy to fit on my little 08 fiesta.Followed a YouTube video too like 15 mins fit.Amazing value as was quoted £93 from local garage.Great quality and seems to be kid proof.

One was received broke but
Good for the money but received one of them were broke. Took hours to work out how to put back together. It's not correct but working. Did not have time to return has need it put on the seat. Would have been 5 stars if not broken

Quick to fit
These worked well to replace my old ones , it was quick and easy . And saved me lots of money. I watched a youtube video and replaced them myself , I have had this seat repaired at a garage before and it cost £75 but that was with the cable also .These replacements only work if the cable is still intact and working, please keep that in mind
