Almost perfect-but overpriced
I have lumbar disc herniations and cervical disc bulges-and this is a game changer. I can play guitar now as long as id like!I purchased both this and one of the last mbrace's-and this blows the mbrace out of the waterThe mbrace will fit more guitars and be a little more sturdy with a heavy stand-but it doesnt give your legs much clearance and isnt very comfortable to playI find myself craning over the guitar just to play it with the mbraceWith this the guitar sits flush to my torso and my legs have perfect clearance! The stand it comes with is heavy-not too heavy but heavy enough to not worryCould i be better? Yes there is a slight wobble but after playing for 30 minutes i adapted and forgot it was even doing itThis really only works for guitars that have a certain level of thickness-i use it currently with a les paul style ltd ec-256, but i have an ibanez s series i have yet to try it with i doubt it will work well with.Is it worth the money? Absolutely not. Every single part od my gut screams that this company is knowingly exploiting mildly disabled people like myself who dont have cheaper options available and dont have any other possible means of enjoying guitar. For this i give them 2 starsBut since this is what i consider the only option-does it do what you buy it to do? YesAs long as your guitar is not thin like an s series (a strat should be fine)For that i give it 5 starsIm so happy i have thisBut in no way do i think this should be 350 dollars150? Maybe, 200 is pushing itThis is being posted before the inflation from tarriffs have kicked in so bare that in mind future readerBut yes-absolutely overpriced predatory practices going on hereBut i have no other way of playing-so i must relent to my exploitationI will be returning the mbrace and forgetting about how much this costed me as i noodle for every moment of my free time.

Just what I was looking for.
Ok, I was looking for a stand to hold my mandolin, but after reading some reviews, I found it doubtful that this stand would work. Then again mine is not your average mandolin thank to Dillon musical instruments. But seeing it was the only performance stand I could find that wasn't specifically made for acoustic guitars, I decided to take the 350+ dollar risk and ordered it. After all, I could always use it for one of my electric guitars.Well let me tell you... this stand is just what the doctor ordered. No more switching from one instrument to another during the middle of a song. Now I just walk up to the mandolin and play it's part and back up a couple steps to play leads on the guitar. All without switching instruments and fumbling to get it back on a stand. Not to mention, getting the other strapped on before a solo.Keep in mind I have not stage or road tested it yet, but from the quality, I believe this stand will work out just fine for many years. As for the stand itself.. it's light weigh, but sturdy, folds up as compact as any cymbal stand, looks good in basic black and has plenty of adjustments for getting that perfect hight and angle for comfortable playing.I would say if you're looking for the perfect performance stand and have $350 to spend on a guitar stand, this would be what I recommend. Also the manufacturer has addressed the issue with the input jack, mentioned in earlier reviews. It now has a cutout that should address the issue for most brands of guitars. I'll include a picture. All and all, I am pleased with my purchase.

1st page directions are in German -- It's a tank!
Bought this to hold my 16 pound Warr touch guitar. The rubber grippers / feet smudge off on the guitar finish, but you can buff this out. The felt is thin on the steel band used to hold the instrument. I may need to bend the steel band to fit the guitar body better. Otherwise, holds the guitar as advertised and saves my 45 year old back!

With neck and shoulder injuries, this is the only way I can even play and enjoy guitar.
I have a couple of disc issues in my neck that pinches nerves and called sorts of pain and numbness down to my fingertips. I didn’t even know such a thing like this stand existed until my instructor suggested it. I spent about 15 minutes playing with the height, positions, and angles so it’s in a natural position. My neck, shoulders, arms, and hands carry no weight. With surgeries and recovery ahead of me, I thought I’d have to hang up my guitars for most of the year. This keeps me playing and just having fun.The cost is a tiny price to pay for me to enjoy my guitar passion for months that would otherwise be lost.Besides that, it’s easy to set up and position. Just a few simple knobs to lock the guitar firmly in the stand. I trust it enough to put my LP on it.And the curved “base” has a slot running down the middle for jacks on the side.

Liberating pain-free guitar playing
I was skeptical that this would be ergonomic and functional. I’m happy to say that it works great and is stable. I can easily play the guitar without the neck and shoulder pain of a guitar strap.

Recent product changes have made a real difference!
I read a lot of previous reviews and purchased this with the understanding that I could only use it for a small portion of my guitar collection; those guitars with front-facing output jacks. Well, the manufacturer has clearly listened to the feedback. The stand now has an oblong cutout that allows the use of any guitar; even those with output jacks on the side/bottom of the guitar. That said, I am much more likely to practice throughout the day. No guitar to pick up, strap on, etc. I just walk up to the guitar and practice/play. So far I'm very impressed!
