Wide feet, go up a size. Made in USA, Not China!
For size I wear a 13-13 1/2 2W. I would reccomend going up one size, 14 for the extra width. Fit much better and extra strap helped.I now can now wear a compression sock with sandals. It seems well made and comfortable.(Made in USA) Not China!Dr. Wally 5/15/2025

Nice!
Husbands loves them. Comfortable, supports his flat feet, durable, true to size, light weight, and great price point.

Edit: NOT the Worst and weirdest fitting sandal ever
You get used to the fit. I just bought another pair and realized my original review was far too harsh. They are too wide and too short in length for me, but far less so than you think judging from my original review. I raised my rating from one star to four. And no, I did not have any contact from the seller or anyone about my original review. These sandals are good enough for me, and they last a long time even if you walk a lot in them every day, as I do. Both the soles and the straps last, although the straps are way too long for me because I have to have it so tight, but still, good enough, so much so that I am enjoying my recently purchased second pair now.Original:The sandals are both too large and too small at the same time because the length is too short and the straps cannot be tightened enough to keep your feet from moving all over on the sandal... Huge disappointment considering they were not, I thought, something that would end up being worth about one dollar given how poorly they fit. I have never had such a badly, weirdly fitting sandal, and I have worn different sandals for well over 50 years.

Great for hiking
Came well packaged and fast delivery. These are the best hiking sandals I have ever had. They are extremely rugged and smart looking for everyday wear, especially for climbing and hiking through any terrain including streams, rivers and light rock climbing. I have three pairs of these in different colors, my first purchase was almost 6 years ago, and still look as good as they did when I first purchased them. The Velcro straps are very secure even after 6 years of heavy wear, they are as good looking and comfortable as they originally came. The rubber soles are thick and very heavy duty for canoeing, kayaking, hiking and climbing, all of which we have been doing for almost 40 years. My husband was so impressed by how rugged they are, he also bought a pair and wears them pretty much everyday in the summer time. These are also a very good price on Amazon. Other sporting good stores are offering these sandals for much more.

Wide toe box for comfy toes and excellent fit
I have worn size 10 for 30 years until a nice lady at a shoe store told me I was wearing the wrong size to compensate for my toe width.I now wear size 8.5 in the Keen Austin and my toes fit nicely w/o a wide heal and foot. This is my second pair to go along with the pair I purchased 2 months ago.I wear them 13 hours a day, so far mostly inside. The sole touches my foot from front to back which is actually odd for me, but excellent. The shoe lace metal eyelets are wide and can stay wide with very little tightening. My wife has only worn Keens for 10+ years. They are somewhat stiff for a couple of days and now they feel nicely like a glove around my foot.I've never had that wonderful feel. Nice and soft, yet supportive. Also, they give me room for the top of my toes and foot since other shoes are too tight there for me.Since they are leather they provide room that is not tight as most mesh shoes are too tight for my toes. They have a mesh cloth inside to make the fit more comfortable.I was concerned how soft they feel at this point and the length of wear, but my wife usually needs a replacement after 4 years or so.The inset is replaceable if you want your own.The strings come untied occasionally after 6 hours or so twice a week. They are not for hiking in rocky areas. I don't think they would stand up to rugged rocks and trails. I'm looking for a hiking shoe to do that. They are rather light in weight versus other leather shoes I've tried. My feet have hurt for years and not with these since my foot fits from heal to toe.My feet would slide from side to side and front to back in other size 10 shoes, and yet squeeze my toes. The shoe is shaped like my foot. What a miracle.I would highly recommend these shoes for people with wide toes versus heel & foot.

The greatest sandals ever made
After suffering a toe injury I was unable to wear any closed toed shoes for a while. I am not a sandal guy, I didn't even own one pair. I got a pair of flip flops, couldn't stand them. I got a pair of slides..they were ok I guess. Still sucked feeling like my movement was being restricted by these goofy things barely held onto my feet. Then I remembered the existence of the ultimate Dad Sandal..the Keen Targhee Sandal. It was like heaven strapping these bad boys on. Incredibly comfortable. My toes are totally unbotheted by any goofy flip flop thong, they won't fall off if I step wrong. I instantly loved themNow, I actually did a lot of hiking wearing these. The grip of the targhee 3 outsole is excellent, hiking up dusty steep southern california mountain trails I never came across anything they couldn't handle. The leather straps are solid and I get the feeling they would easily outlive the traction on the outsole.Whether you are getting these for hiking or simply the comfort of a sandal that stays on your foot, they are going to do their job well. I honestly couldn't find one single flaw with these sandals.
