Arrived when expected, packed well. Gasket looks good. Put in on my wood stove, went pretty well. Glue was pretty sticky though. Haven't fired it up yet so if anything goes awry there will be follow up. Kidding about the glue.

The cement was just absolutely awful. It wouldn't bond to the metal surface. The length was only correct if stretched out. But, the tension from stretching would pull away from the adhesive.

The rope gasket material was fine. The issue was the adhesive. Could not get the adhesive to flow out the nozzle, no matter how much of the applicator tip I cut off. At first only liquid came out of the tube. I needed the tube to attempt to mix the liquid with the adhesive, no luck. Ended up removing the tip and applied with a gloved finger. There were also cure adhesive in the tube.

Keeps the smoke going where it should be. Wear gloves, this stuff is fiberglass.

Just installed this in my wood stove an hour ago. The rope fit fine, hopefully it will seal well and last a while. However, the crappy quality of the cement's packaging made me nervous about the whole situation. Before opening the cement I squeezed the tube as instructed in the videos, to make sure the cement was properly "mixed," and immediately noticed gunk leaking out of the bottom of the tube. I don't think the bottom was even sealed, just rolled up and crimped. Squeezing out a bead into the stove door groove was pretty much impossible. A tiny bit would come out, then nothing. Squeeze harder, and a big glop of the stuff would shoot out all over the place. Clean up and repeat. It became obvious that there were air bubbles inside the tube. Very frustrating. Hope it works.

everything with order is good, just will not be installing until later date.

gasket was great, liked it alot. the adhesive on the other hand, you couldnt get it mixed. it would come out runny at time like water and super chunky other times. its holding but we will see how long.

Replaced old heat rope. Have the correct size of replacement before ordering. It was matched to exactly what I ordered.
