Jet Seal for Matte is awesome!
Applied it in Sept 2022 to my 2015 Harley SGS in matte black. Looks awesome, perfect matte finish restored.I was so happy to get around to it that applied it like a total retard, quick and messy. I applied to whole bike, so it dried a lot longer than the recommended 20 minutes. So it was a little hard to get off. I did not use any detailer to remove the sealer. I just used extra micro fiber cloths, and it shined up great.I did apply it to cool bike in the evening shade, still about 85 ambient temp. After I completed it, I read the reviews. I'm not sure what conditions resulted in other bad reviews. I will recommend this product.

Works well without ruining the matte finish
Bought a new car with a dark matte finish and was told do not use any normal wax on the finish otherwise will lead to shiny spots. Found this product and it works well. Does not alter the appearance of the matte finish and leaves no swirls. If you have a matte finish don’t hesitate to buy this product.

Works well on matte paint but not so good on matte vinyl.
Only 2 complaints, very hard to buff off and it leaves streakes on vinyl warp. Factory matte paint turns out beautifully.Very hard to buff off and to buff out evenly, which mean that the product really bonds well onto the paint? I have to use their Chemical Guys meticulous matte detailer & spray sealant to buff out this product. After, the result is stunning. But on the other side, it is a different story on vinyl wrap. It is factory vinyl wrap and factory matte paint on my vehicle. I can not even buff out this product with their spray and it would leave even more streaks on the vinyl. I have to use rubbing alcohol to take the streaks out on the vinyl. Look for other sealant products for vinyl warps. I would give it a 3.9 stars, will see how it would hold up.

I implore you to stay away from this product if you care about your matte finish
I am calling a lawyer on Monday. I just had one of California's highest end shops complete a wrap on a Land Rover in Matte green, with black accents. It looked amazing (past tense). It's a large vehicle, and the shop was not cheap to begin with, so lots of material, and lots of expensive labor. Obviously, I wanted to protect it from the California sun and I turned to Chemical Guys JetSeal as I have had a good experience with other products made by them in the past.Woke up at 6AM on a Saturday to ensure the vehicle was not in the sun and followed the directions to a "T". Brand new Micro Fiber towels, meticulously cleaned and dried (Using Chemical Guys Matte detailer) ahead of the JetSeal. I can't believe I blindly trusted these guys based on past experiences without reading the reviews. My Land Rover now has a haze and streaks all over the 1-week old wrap, it simply will not come off. I am not going to go to extremes as others have using isopropyl alcohol or other harsh cleaners until I hear back from these guys. I have included some pictures from today, and one from a week ago when I got the truck from the wrap shop. The picture included is after an hour of buffing to try and get it off.

Good product
This product works well. It’s too bad some reviews are negative, I think the product was not used properly in those cases. After applying to a clean car, you have to let it set for 20 minutes. During that period, it looks like a smeary haze, which is stressful when you are worried about getting it back off.But then you buff it out with a microfiber towel and it goes back to a matte finish. Going over it with their detailed spray at the end works out any inconsistencies in the finish. You can tell that the surface is much slicker and that it will be harder for dirt and grime to stick.

Awesome for Matte Black Rims
I have to say that I was skeptical about the product with some of the bad reviews. I couldn’t find anyone who had tried it on matte black rims... only body and vinyl wraps. I purchased a set of Rock Star 2 rims in matte black a couple years back and the plastic had a little fading in the Vegas sun. I applied the product last weekend and took a shot. I have to say that it is incredible. It brought life back into not only the metal but the plastic as well. No streaking or greasy residue left behind. I am extremely pleased and would recommend this to other people with similar rims polishing and protection needs.

This is currently protecting my plasti dipped rims for the winter. You'll definitely want to wipe off excess product and buff the surface as the last step suggests.I purposefully didn't to give me a thick protective coat to fight off salt and sand thinking the excess would come off in the first wash... I was wrong. This stuff bonds well! Automatic car wash brushes have thinned out the built up layers of wax but after three washes and two months, my silver wheels are still tinted blue from the thick coat of wax.Not complaining at all!! Actually pleasantly surprised at how well this product works and how long it lasts. Definitely buying more, but next time I won't modify directions.
