Great for blind testing whiskeys
Always enjoyed drinking out of a Glencairn. I hosted a blind drinking tasting with some friends and this colored glass helped keep the glass as anonymous to what's in it by color.

Is not transparent. Hard to see how much you pour in the glass.

Great glass
Excellent for sipping whiskey, or as an oversized shot of that's your thing. Good for rum too, if you're drink it neat. I also pour a glass on occasion and put it in the freezer for that evening.
