Swapping from a mains version, this battery powered straightener works effectively as it makes quick work of my beard and doesn't burn the skin. Very convenient and comfortable to use, works happily with dry hair and damp. Only downside is it takes just over three and a half minutes to heat up to my setting of 185, because of this the unit only does 3 uses then needs a recharge. Charging is simple and doesn't take too long. Would recommend but have also kept my old mains version for those times I get caught out with this unit needing a recharge. Delivery to UK was very quick.

This product definitly gets hot enough. Reccomend only using with beard oil but that would go for any source of heat on hair to try n avoid damaging. Takes about %8 battery to heat up on 165 and %10 for 200. I only make two or three pass's because you really feel the heat and thats all it really needs, battery is at %72-75 after that. I had no expectation of getting my beard super straight just trying to tame the wild super curley hair on the upper sides which it does with eaze. As for now I reccomend this product. Saw some bad reviews but looked to be mostly user error so Im glad I tried it out. 4 stars because battery. Will update if it breaks on me

I have a curly beard; this comb does an excellent job of straightening the curls.

Shorted out shortly after purchasing, was showing error codes, bow doesn't even work.

I waited to use this through three battery cycles before I decided to make this review. To begin with, the charge time is about what I would have expected to see. And I was able to get three solid uses out of each charge. I may have been able to get four, but I don't like running rechargeable batteries to nothing before recharging. The controls are simple and effective, and the instructions were spot on. The brush definitely gets hot enough, but as some have said, if you aren't careful, there is a risk of touching one of the heated elements to your skin. For me, this tends to happen most often directly under my jawline. As far as it's effectiveness.... Well, I wish it worked a little better for me. My beard is pretty thick, and though no curly, it can get a little unruly. On one hand, yes, this straightener does help tame it. A little. But my beard requires heat and tension to pull it straight. This unit provides the heat, but not so much tension. I've even tried holding my beard straight with one hand and using the brush in the other, but it just could not get it to adequately lay down. I gave it only two stars for travelling for three reasons. The first is, (unless I've missed something) there is no way to lock out the controls when not in use. I bought this to use after riding my motorcycle and when I travel. Without being able to lock out the controls, I am not comfortable throwing this thing into a saddlebag or backpack where the power button could easily be hit. The second reason is, there is no cover for the bristles/tines/elements. The third is, when I do travel, it's usually for more than three or four days. Though getting three uses out of it is not shabby, it's just not enough for what I need it for.Lastly, this feature may just be covered, but the "ion vent" in the pictures, is not a feature that I can find.All in all, it's not a BAD straightener, but it isn't quite a GOOD one, either.

Dont listen to these low star reviews. 90% of them are user error. It's like people dont read. It says in listing, the video, and the instructions that you can expect 40-50min of use time and 3.5hrs of charging time. Yet many complain that battery ran out after couple uses. FYI, i purchased other cordless straighteners before on amazon, NONE of them have better battery than this one. It is very difficult to have a long lasting battery on a product that generates that much massive heat. Yet this product can do it for 40-50 min straight on max temperature.This product performs great and exactly like described!

I purchased this beard straightener for my husband as he was starting to grow his beard! His bear is curly and shrinks when wet so I didn't think his beard was long. He asked for a straightener and I said ok which led me to purchasing this product. When he used it on his beard I said OMG lol the way that straightener straightened his bear and made it so long is incredible the length he had was surprising. If your looking for a great product for the beard then this is what u want! He absolutely loves this. Only little con is that u have to fully charge it frequently but hey it performs really great.

I really like that it has a built in USB charger, in case I wanted to use it as a battery bank xDI’ve used it probably 4 times since buying 9/21, and the power button crapped out on me. It still works, intermittently, so I’m still running it, but now it’s a profanity-filled mission every time I straighten my beard. Does still work though, and I still take it places.
