AMERICAN MODIFIED Sports Grille with Steel Mesh Compatible with 2016 to 2021 Honda Civic Sedan, Hatchback, FK8 Models, Glossy Black

Just recently installed this on my Civic hatchback and I could not be more excited.

This grille was thrown on an 18 Touring. The turbo benefitted EXTREMELY compared to the stock grille.Like others say the fitment is trashy, but it works. You should gently install the top hold-clips. We did it clips in first then moving everything else into place. You'll be getting two stock screws back when screwing it into the bumper.Paint for me came perfectly fine, though we redid the mesh Andonized Red. If you don't do what we did below you'll have a bad look on non-dark colors.We removed the airflow sensor infront of the grille, and painted the front frame bar gloss black. Not the whole thing, just the triangular slant part. The front bumper has a center support beam, we painted this gloss black too. We sanded both the framing and bumper parts. If you don't and keep stock color your grille will look very funky for brighter colors.There are more pictures of this grille on my Instagram @ YakumaeAll in all decent for price, this is a mock of J's racing grille. Performance gains on intake and cooling a bit.

The media could not be loaded. Honestly looks really good after going through the hassle of getting the bumper off lol, only 3 problems with the grill, 2 of the mounting screw in the grill wasn't there, theres a gap in-between the bumper and grill (even though two of the clips where broke the last grill still clicked in). The mesh grill it's self is flimsy would suggest order a stronger one.

This product does not like the snow at all I thought this grille about 2 months or so ago and with this bad snow we had the grille just started cracking and broke into pieces i guess from driving from it being too cold the plastic broke now I have to buy another grille already and I paid 162$ for this grille won’t buy it again for that amount of money the quality should be strong I’ve have the 70$ type r grille for 3 years no problem

Great product

This was a pretty easy install on my 2019 Civic Type R and I'm really happy with the result (the look and the increased air flow). I did remove the mesh that came with the grille and instead used one I purchased on Amazon (AggAuto Universal 40"x13" Car Grill Mesh - Aluminum Alloy Automotive Grille Insert Bumper 10x38mm Honeycomb Hole). It's much more sturdy and more closely matches the mesh on the lower part of the front bumper. I was also then able to attach the Honda "H" emblem as I didn't like the look without it.The fitment is 9/10 which is on par with the OEM grille as I had a gap with OEM that is still there with the American Modified but you can't notice it unless you're up close. The finish is probably a 7/10 as the paint is not perfect, but again you can't notice it unless you're up close.Overall I highly recommend this grille and it's crazy to think some people spend almost $1k for something similar with the same or even worse fitment. I've attached pictures that show the grille as it arrived, with the new mesh, and with the H emblem attached. I've also attached one installed on the car.

The front grill from American modified is a great product and improves the look of the car significantly. But you will need to put some work in.The grill’s fitment is a little loose, but using the side piece that come stock. Help to tighten up the gap.The plastic is a little flimsy, but with a little diy internal reinforcement it is fine and much more rigid.The metal mesh is cheap but very easy to replace with your choice of mesh.The 1st pic is before i made the changes listed.

I love it!!!! it fits perfectly!!! Its just what i expected
