Q: Was everyone else's unit about 1-2 inches too long? If so, how do you install it without breaking the plastic cover in your car?

Hello,, the plastic hooks are for the headrest post, put it up against the back of the seat first, hook the hooks around the chrome headrest post, then adjust the cover , then pull all the way out to slip into one of the slots build in rear of the vehicle. I installed in a 2022 Honda HRV.

Not sure if I can remember if the product description said it included it. I still couldnt figure out how to actually put them in even with the sellers instructions they gave me after purchasing. I find it stays secure without the sticks, at least so far. I usually leave it pulled out.
