This watch is all that you need and nothing that you don’t for most people. It has the day/date function which is great. The dial is easy to read and it wears well on the wrist. I have had several people that have caught a passing glimpse of it and asked me if it was a Rolex Explorer. Then I show them the dial which nothing like that. The seconds hand is just a smidge off of the indices marks. That does not bother me as I am not timing anything to that level of precision. I have had several days where I have not worn it and the light in the house was enough to keep it charged/running. Overall this is a great watch and I have no regrets with this purchase.

The media could not be loaded. Very, very comfortable bracelet on this watch. Thin and lightweight, but not cheap. Clasp could be better at this price point and could use more than just one micro adjustment, but wasn’t an issue for me. I was able to size it quickly and easily. Watch is the perfect weight and the 43mm case size has a nice presence to it, but not too large. Doesn’t have a screw down crown, but also not an issue for me. This watch looks very high quality. It’s dressy, but at the same time casual and sporty. Can be worn for any occasion. I bought it as something I could wear everyday that isn’t too dressy, but still looks really high quality, and this watch accomplishes that for me. Steel + black is the cleanest look. You definitely can’t go wrong with this watch in your collection. Buy it.

Beautiful watch but I returned it because the band was too small.

Great watch, gave it to my son as a gift and he loves it.

Citizen (Japan) is the biggest watchmaker in the world. ECO drive (40 years now) is unique to them. Light from any source charges the lithium battery. No winding. No motion detector inside to wind it automatically. No separate watch-winding devices are needed to keep it alive. The included day/date function has mostly disappeared from other watches. (date/no day). Slightly heavier (6.5 oz) than my old 4.5 oz watch. Don't notice the difference. Titanium choices would reduce weight, but my wallet would also weigh a bit less. Has a Micro-adjust good-looking steel band. Don't replace it with another. It's solid, attractive, and looks unbreakable. Don't pretend you are smart enough to remove or add links, or micro-adjust the band. Pay the $15, and let the watch-fix guy do it. Tell him you want the micro adjust finesse to be checked BEFORE he starts to remove links. Register the purchase with Citizen to activate the warranty. The feature I like best, though, is the way it looks. Unlike some watches, you can easily read the time. White numbers and hands, black background. I just love the damn thing.

The first photo was from when bought this watch in February 2020. The second photo is current May 2024. This has been my only watch for the last four years and I bought it for $130. It has outperformed my expectations for that price point. I was looking for a field watch with a day/date complication and crown guards. The polished bezel is pretty scratched as well as the mineral crystal but they don't create any viewing issues. The lume is pretty decent too. And, at least on my watch, the seconds hand lines up perfectly with the markers. The black dial and stainless steel pretty much go with any kind of attire. I wear it to work and I've worn it with a suit. I think it's currently going for about $200 which is a little steep but just about all watch prices have gone up. It's a nostalgia piece for me now because of all the things that have happened since and I'm proud to have it in my collection. It was a gateway piece for me for sure. I'm now looking at a Hamilton King Khaki and a Seiko Alpinist (even though it doesn't show the day of the week). Still plan to wear this whenever I'm mowing the lawn or out fishing because I don't mind the scratching it and it's still a great looking watch.
