Fab head torch with different uses & came with a protective zip up case & useful tool.
An absolutely great head tourch with a few uses. It's nice & bright as well as comfortable to wear, unlike some that I've had in the past. It's ideal that the head of the torch can be altered so that it doesn't necessarily have to permanently remain looking straight forward. The lights can be white or red & it has different settings such as light permanently on, it can be a flashing light at different speeds as well as being able to be used as a safety night light for use during cycling in the dark for example. It has a great protective, hard exterior zip up pouch that comes with it. Plus a useful keyring tool that does all sorts of things. This has come in handy a number of times so it's definitely a good thing to have even though you didn't think you'd need it. Ideal to add to your keys for 'just in cases', you never know when you're going to need it!Unfortunately the first torch I had from them started to have issues with the buttons after a few times of use but this was easily resolved though Amazon chat. I received a refund & I reordered once the refund had gone through. The price had increased between the 2 orders, I thought there'd be no harm in asking Amazon to honour the £5 extra. I didn't feel it should have been down to me to have to pay the difference in cost due to the item going faulty. They were good enough to add £5 credit to my account no questions asked! It was also an added bonus that by I received my refund, when I came to reordering it, yes it had increased from £15 to £20, but there was a voucher box that I ticked which gave £2 off the product price. It was nice in the end that it really only cost me £13 which is excellent value for money in my opinion! I just hope the same fault doesn't occur again after a couple of times of using it. Fingers crossed 🤞

Best head torch I have ever had
Ok, I've had this head torch for a couple of weeks now . Here's the summary thus far :The light from it, when all LEDs are switched on, is terrific . It easily lights up the paths I am walking or cycling on ...in fact I have got rid of my powerful cycle lamp because this simply works better . When placed on a helmet ( or just on the head ) it illuminates exactly where you are looking, unlike a fixed bike light .( which only lights where the bike is pointed ) I had never thought about this before but now, I would never bother with bike headlights again. The light seems to last for hours and when it does die, it does it very slowly, so you are not plunged into darkness in an instant . Mine came with four batteries ( it runs on two large rechargeable types ) so I should never be left out in the dark unexpectedly . I really love the little red LED on top of the battery pack, so even a car behind can notice you . The five helmet clips are handy too . Another great feature is the hand sensor . Simply press one button and the LEDs will switch off or on by moving your right hand up or down ..no more fumbling for the switch if you are dazzling another oncoming car or bike ..a great feature I could never be without now . Build quality if fine as long as you don't abuse it ( it is simply plastic after all )If I lost it , I would buy another in a heartbeat . What better recommendation can there be than that ?

Very bright and good for night running but a fairly narrow beam
I use this for off road running and dog walking in the pitch dark. My previous head torch had cut out in heavy rain and took days to dry out so got this so I have two. This one has yet to be tested in heavy rain. It is very bright but the beam is narrower than the single lens torch it replaced. For running it is a bit narrower than I would like so requires a bit more moving of the head to see all the terrain in front, but is still good to run with and you can see a huge distance in front.I tend to run using the two diddy supplementary LEDs plus the two big vertically aligned lenses. This is plenty of light and saves a bit of battery life vs using all LEDs. For dog walking I mostly just use the two supplementary LEDs as these give a wide diffuse light with no visible spot and just enough to walk with. The four horizontally aligned lenses provide an even narrower beam but can be combined with the two vertical ones for maximum light. Not heavy to wear and fairly comfortable. Standard size Li-Ion batteries mean you can carry spares (e.g. for ultra running) or to replace them. Battery compartment seems well sealed with a nice secure catch. My main gripe is with the flimsy cover for the charging port so rain is likely to get into that port.Rear red LED is useful for road running, though it has its own button so is easy to forget to turn it on. This may be a benefit if you don't need it on. Having two buttons to control all the front LEDs is useful as you don't have to cycle through the really bright ones if you just need a bit of light and allows different pairings of LEDs. The front lights hinge from straight ahead to pointing down with about 4/5 firm stop positions in between so doesn't move from its position. A really useful torch with a level of light for most uses, and at a bargain price.

Good quality for the money!
The headlamp comes in a good quality hard shell case with two 1500 mA batteries and a type C USB charging cable. The headband is comfortable with good silicone padding at the points of contact to prevent any plastic part touching your head. The battery compartment is also well designed with a tight latch closure and a silicone seal to prevent water ingress. The light isn’t blindingly bright but it is easy bright enough for most occasions. If you’re looking for a light for camping, dog walking or as a reading light then this is a good option below the £20 mark. As always watch out for deals as this can drop below £15. Well worth the money at that price!
