Awesome 👌🏼
Perfect gift for my bug-obsessed 7-year old. He's able to read everything by himself and loves the big, detailed pictures and variety of interesting bugs. It's been a lifesaver at restaurants and during car rides in and has helped cut down a bit on screen time. Very educational and fun book!

Perfect for bug enthusiasts
We have a 7yo friend who loves bugs and everything bugs. We got it as a gift to her and she lovvved it. I wasn’t sure if the bug will be too advanced for her. But she was so happy looking at the pics and reading the parts that she could understand. This is as the gift she chose to carry with her on car drives after and that made me the happiest aunt :)Older kids and even adults will enjoy the book too. It has a lot of info and really cool pics.

Students Love It!
I'm a science teacher, so I try to keep a good amount of nonfiction books in my room. The kids love this one and the reptile version. The images are bold, and the info is pretty solid. Kids actually enjoy sharing what they read too. These books hold up well too, so I don't have to worry quite as much about the students who can be a bit more on the rough side.

My insect lover doesn’t want to put it down
I got this for my 4 year old son for Christmas. He loves it and has had me read it to him at bedtime for about a month straight. We’ll read about 4-5 bugs each night. The writing is advanced for his age so I’ll just use easier words and skim over some things here or there to make it more age appropriate. He’s very interested in the photos. He just wants to keep reading more and more. I love that this is a book he can grow with for years.I even enjoy reading it to him because I’ve learned some interesting things I didn’t know and I like looking at the photos too. I’d highly recommend it if you have a little insect lover like me!!

Bugomania!
I bought this book for my grandson who was crazy about insects after visiting the Insectarium in New Orleans. This book had excellent illustrations and interesting facts that are great for young readers! I love the National Geographic Kids books!

It is scalable for children four and up.
I expect my granddaughter and I to get years of entertainment while enjoying ourselves at the same time. This year I am helping her learn to classify bugs into their different groups. Beatles, ant, etc. plus as it’s swarming time how to differentiate between ants and termites. As she gets older she will learn more about scientific classification of bugs and yes arachnids are bugs just not insects. We will learn about the heroes and villains at play in this fascinating area. We look forward to wearing this book out over years of play, learning, and research. Her father was the same way with books when he was growing up. Thank you for such a wonderful gift for her.Michael, Sr.

Beautiful Book but would recommend for 5+ age
Beautiful book for children but would recommend it for at least 5 year olds and up. Our 4 year old got a little overwhelmed by it and it wasn’t as interesting to her as was a shorter but more colorful bugs book.

Awesome book
This is a great book. My kiddos love to read it at bedtime and they learn so much about bugs. They have repeated details to me so it has been a fun purchase and a bonding book. Definitely educational.
