Neat Design Nerd Loves This Word Search Book
Haven’t started digging in yet, but I gotta say this word search book has me really excited! I like the layout of two puzzles per page and the overall design of it as well (nice margin space, black headers for each puzzle, lines separating each row of words - I’m kind of a nerd about neat aesthetics in things like this 😊). I also like that there are themes for each puzzle, and there’s a huge variety of them as well. I’m not a fan of the weird types of word searches (like license plates or number searches or weird shapes that make up a word - y’all know what I mean?). Just good ol classic word searches is all I wanted. Best thing is I like to use a PaperMate Flair marker and the pages are thick enough that they don’t bleed through! The book is textbook sized so there’s lots of space to move around. Be aware that this is not large print though if you’re looking for that. I think I’ll go get this spiral bound at staples ( thank goodness was for those wide margins!) or something so it’s easier to flip through the book, and maybe get a hard back cover to go with it so it has something to make it sturdy when I’m working on the puzzles in bed or on car rides. These are the only two improvements that I wish for and I think I can easily get that done myself. All in all I’m really excited about this book and super glad I bought it!

Once a Day
I did one word search puzzle a day (in the smallest room in the house). It took me 1 year and 8 months to get thru the book. (45 words to find per puzzle! I even learned some new words.)I was very satisfied afterwards! (Altho I may have a peculiar addiction to word searches now!)Sometimes I thought: "Well, he's left this word out!"But the next morning, it would jump out at me. He was perfect. No missing words. No misspelled words.I feel this was very good for my brain. Can read backwards, diagonally, diagonally backwards, kept inventing new clever ways for me to find words. So enjoy!

Still working on it 3 years later
I am on page 87 which means I've completed 344 of the 500 puzzles. Each one has 45 words to find in 300 letters. The one thing that would make it harder would be either fewer words or more letters, but overall I have enjoyed this book, obviously. The one humorous thing is these puzzles may have been made a long time ago. For instance the puzzle on spreadsheets (something i worked with for 40 years) had Lotus, a very only software, and not Excel. A few others seemed to be outdated too, but didn't take away from me enjoying the puzzles.

Could have been 5 stars except.....
Could have been 5 stars except the print is just too small. We are not looking for giant print. Just about 25% larger would be a huge help for the eyes of people who do not have perfect vision. These books help the elderly with somewhat poor eyesight pass the time and they are a huge help to keep their brains sharp. Please come out with a larger print version. Thanks.

MOST PUZZLES FOR THE MONEY!
I love the funster word search books. I have purchased the same one at least six times. And here I go again. Not too easy so you challenge yourself. I tear out at least 10 pages fold them in half and put a piece of cardboard in between for support. That way you don't have to hold the heavy book. The author Charles Timberon uses one particular word in every one of his puzzles. Let's see if you can guess what it is. Treat yourself to hours of fun. It keeps your brain Young. Try it you won't be sorry.
