Don’t expect it to do what your ear doctor does, but do give it a shot!
I think a lot of people are expecting this product to do the same job that a certified otolaryngologist can do... which is simply not the case. If you suffer from severe wax buildup, this product won’t do much for you because you most likely need to go to one of these specialists so they can soften your wax and remove it themselves. This product is, however, really great for general ear cleaning! The tips are very soft and flexible and they’re not long enough to reach your ear drum. For me, this product helps me to shift some of the softer wax in my ears that I get from wearing earbuds. It’s genuinely a good product as long as you use it properly and don’t expect it to shift years of thick wax buildup in one session. This product was best suited for my younger brother who has autism. Since he was a little boy he had this major phobia surrounding people touching / cleaning his ears and the sight of a cotton swab would cause him to cry and run away (even if we were just using it to clean the outer ear). Now, as an adult, he’s a lot better with q-tips but due to the fact that q-tips aren’t the best thing to use for ear cleaning (dangerous, even), using this tool was incredibly easy and helpful. Due to the soft material the tips are made of, he wasn’t bothered at all. Helping him keep his ears clean is way easier now!Great product, helpful for everyday light earwax removal

Device does work, but a warning...
What a neat little gadget, and very cunning use of an Archimedean Screw. The tool is a light plastic handle with a direction arrow embedded on it, and sixteen soft conical silicon screws which click onto the handle. Why sixteen, I do not know- three would do, one for each ear and a spare. The idea is that you put the screw end into your ear canal and twist the handle in the direction indicated. The silicon screw will do two things: It will pull into your ear (Don't worry, the taper stops the screw going too far!), and it will drag out ear wax, so have a tissue handy to wipe it off. It does work, it does what it says on the tin, to coin a phrase.BUT, and it's a big but:- if you already have a hardened wax build-up, as I did (and the reason to buy this device), you may find that the soft screw simply pushes the wax outwards, lining your ear canal, and putting a fine polish onto it. It simply drags out any loose stuff.I know this because I was due a hearing check, and the Nice Lady took photographs to show me how much wax I had blocking my ears before I bought this device and used it, then did the same on my follow-up appointment and demonstrated not much clearance and a highly polished surface. My advice would be that this is a very useful device if you 'suffer' from earwax build-up as I do, but to use it regularly AFTER your ears have been de-waxed, to prevent the wax building back up again.

DO NOT BUY
DO NOT BUY. This is a waste of money, spent ages reading lots of reviews and the different types and length of the silicone attachments. Going to continue to use cotton buds.Had to give it one star , as i wouldn't be able to leave a review.

Actually works and much cheaper than paying for syringing.
I bought this because I was pretty desperate to relieve an ear blocked with wax. I knew that my doctor would just say "Put olive oil in it" but who has time to wait weeks for olive oil to do anything (if it does)? Private ear syringing is expensive, so I was feeling pretty fed up (and deaf one side).I saw this had good reviews and it seemed like a safe product (which is important because no one wants a burst ear drum). I ordered and the Vafee Ear Wax Remover arrived the next day.It is very easy to use and it doesn't hurt. I was amazed at how much wax came out and I could actually hear from my blocked ear again, which was such a relief. I have used it a few times since for maintenance and will continue to do so. I think if you have a very blocked ear, it is probably worth softening the wax with olive oil/drops for a couple of days if it doesn't remove all the wax first time. This is a great product and so easy to use. Plus it works!

Very good little tool
Very good little tool. Easy to use and clean. Designed to clean the front external ear canal (the part people would see). It’s not designed to go all the way down to the eardrum as that would be dangerous. It works well. The only way it could be improved is if it could also include a selection of heads that are slightly wider or thicker but it still works perfectly fine.

Easy to use, safe and works.
This arrived quickly, and the package was small enough to go through a letter box which always a bonus. The product is as described, very soft and flexible to unlikely to damage your ears if used with care. I've managed to remove a lot of wax from one ear, less from the other (presumably a reflection of the original blockage). Certainly seems more effective than the drops I've tried in the past, and you get the physiological reward of immediately seeing what has been removed, which encourages further use.I've found its best used after a bath/shower, where the warm moist air had a chance to soften the wax. So far I'm using it once a day, aim to reduce it to once a week when the initial wax removal has completed.I've been cleaning the tips with warm water and hand soap, which seems to work OK. Silicone rubber should be dishwasher safe, but so far I've chickened out of trying that.

Amazing!
Great all round product with amazing design! The silicon drill bit is soft and wide enough for the ear canal, to take out all the excess ear wax out with no trouble. It also isn’t long enough so it touches your ear drum, leaving no risk of damage to your auditory nerve. But it is easy to use and says what it does on the tin. However I do recommend putting a drop of baby oil or similar fluid to soften the ear wax before you use. As it would just ease the process for those harden clumps that can be tricky to penetrate and extract. But overall 10/10 product and definitely recommend over the other products such as the vacuum suction devices or cotton swabs.
