It is imported from China, but all of them have very good quality and hand feel.

Q: Do the scarves have the lacy edge on all sides of the scarf or just on one side and the ends?

I ordered a light gray scarf and that had lace around all edges. The lace was stitched on top of the scarf fabric, so the scarf had a right and wrong side, if that makes sense.

Q: what is the actual size of the scarf?

I did not order this particular scarf but the scarves and colors I did order were true to their display size. This one is called a scarf shawl so it most likely is that length and width. The scarves I ordered were nice quality and decent in length to wrap once around my neck and still hang just below my bust line. I hope that helps.

Q: Why does "banana" change to "beige" in my cart? I need a pale yellow, not beige (too grey).

I was able to add the right scarf to my cart but the description does change to beige...you're right. The picture stays as the light yellow or banana though. The scarf you displayed is called brown which is the one I ordered.... I think you will be ok if you select the one called banana even though it says beige in the description. They are not very expensive so at least you won't have spent a ton if it is slightly different color.
