Handle keeps sliding down when in use. Is there a way to lock it in upright position?

There is a button that locks into place when the handle is fully extended.

Is the handle supposed to collapse with the push of the button?

How much does it weight empty?

The item is relatively light. Do not buy. This is a complete piece of junk. I bought two and the wheels fell off both suitcases on the first use. This is literally one of the worst products I have ever purchased on Amazon. ,

Did your kid run into people or cause crashes in the airport?

My child wasn’t allowed to go faster than I could walk. There’s no reason for him to be far away from me in a crowded public place. So no, there was no bumping into people. Regulate their speed as the brakes aren’t reliable and the scooter does not turn
