Got this for my turtle tank. Works great.

To start off, its a good price and I was going to be. a new pet owner. I bought it thinking it would be wayyyy smaller. It’s the same size of a 9 inch dildo. I was shock to open it and i thought maybe this could work. Then after plugging it in it got extremely hot and burned my hand. I was worried it would kill my fish so i put to the lowest level it could go. I put it in the tank the next day. Then in the morning when i checked up on my fish he was floating as the water was bubbling. Maybe my tank was too small? But either way i improvised and i use as a currying iron! Great results

I have been using this in my 20gal tank for almost 5 months and don’t have any complaints. It has kept the temperature true to what it is set at. I do like that it’s not bulky and huge like some of the wand shaped heaters. I took a star off because it’s in Celsius and I thought it was in Fahrenheit given the description of the product, and there is no way to change it. At first I thought it was changeable because the temperature control button has both C° and F° printed on it. Alas, this was not so. It’s not a huge problem but sometimes I’ll give myself a mini coronary when I look over and it’s says “27” then I remember it’s not in Fahrenheit, so my heart rate drops back into the normal range and I breathe a sigh of relief, whewwww. :)

This little heater has so many features not found on more expensive heaters. I haven't actually used it yet as I'm still in the process of setting up a 20 gallon tank. Even the packaging is superior to others. It is shipped with a foam collar to protect the the glass. I've had other more expensive ones arrive with the glass shattered. Also, this comes with a plastic guard with suction cups to mount to the glass and protect your wildlife and plants from exposure to the hot glass.

This is an absolutely great heater! My turtle loves it so much, he even tries climbing on it sometimes. My first time buying this heater I turned it on without any water inside the tank and when I poured water into the tank the glass shattered. That was my fault for pouring cold water on a glass heater but I absolutely love the heater so much that I bought myself another one.

In the add its for "F" but the one i got in the mail was for "C". I contacted the manufacturer and they told me it was a mess up at the factory and refunded me 6 bucks and said they was going to send me a "F" thermostat in the mail.. update I've waited over 2 months for the Thermostat which i never received. The company also reached out and said they was going to send me a "updated" version of this one. That I've been waiting on for about a month and a half. Now i have worked in the postal service... it doesn't take a month and a half to get something when they said they will rush delivery to you for the mishap.. also these will not be in "F" the company also told me the new "updated" one week also be in "C" . So i really don't know what the update is about unless they have a faulty product... my advice is after waiting for 2 months is look at the other products and buy something else
