Great Cutter
One day the cheap tubing cutter I had decided it had enough, and I was in search of a replacement. I only use for normal home maintenance, and perhaps could have chose a different tool, but liked the looks and review of this one, and it certainly has a nice look and feel. I've only used a few times, but it does the job and seems to be very well built and looks like it will last.I certainly would recommend, and hope this this will be the second, and last one I end up purchasing for DIY use.

Best tubing cutter in the market.
Excellent cutter, It is soft and strong in the turns to cut the tubes, the cutting blade has a long life, it is my second after 3 years, the old one still works but I prefer to buy a new one as a reserve. (150 jobs a year average.)

Incapable to cut 1/8" tubing
I purchased this cutter mainly for cutting 1/8" SS tubing. With the blade being extended all the way in contact with the bottom rollers, it is still not capable to cut through the 1/8" tubing wall. Which is bad if you need to make a clean cut for compression fitting (Swagelok). For the bigger size tubings, that works fine. Then again, I don't need this cutter to do that. It is simply a wrong tool for 1/8" SS tubings.

Professional-quality tool
As someone having been in the HVACR field since the mid-70's, I have seen & used a lot of tubing cutters. Some are bulky, some heavy, some plain junk, and one is exceptional - the Rothenberger. My tubing tool boxes are fitted exclusively with the Rothenberger cutters, from the Mini to the larger sizes. They are both reliable and durable.

It works very well compared to the off brand stuff you buy on the cheap at the hardware store. Great price point on a quality brand to show off to your tool junky friends.

Shaft and cutting wheel are loose
The media could not be loaded. Due to the shaft and cutting wheel being loose, it will not make a nice straight cut and align back where you started. It runs around the conduit as if you were threading it❗
