I appreciate your comment. I was just thinking of purchasing it for my redeye flight to Orlando but won't bother if Delta doesn't allow it. It's too bad because I am really short and my feet don't touch the ground comfortably so this would have been a great option.

In this case I would be concerned of the weight distribution. Depending on what stationary point you hung it from, I would still be concerned about the fall risk.
