TBS Tango 2 Pro Transmitter

This item appeared to tick all the boxes, small, feature packed, works with a sim etc... I am new to the FPV thing but am following advice and starting in a simulator. I decided to think how I may proceed and invest in a controller which I could start learning on and take forward as I progress. Despite being dubious that all the YouTube reviews appeared to be sponsored and address the same issues or reading from the same brief I still thought this would be the best. However, I have only had this a few days and the controller is bricked. I have only used it with a simulator and it hasn’t left my desk. I’ve followed all the general protocols with plugging and unplugging usb devices into computers etc. but this controller has had it. The light remains orange and will not turn off. Nothing I do has helped and it is now unusable. I have searched the Internet an this is a common fault, somehow I didn’t stumble across this issue when I was searching and always search for issues as well as rave reviews. This is a lot of money to spend and I am disappointed to say the least. Fixes apparently include opening the device to access its PCB’s etc... and then updating it’s firmware. While this repair may work, I am not willing to do it on such a pricey, and more importantly, on a brand new item. I have no doubt that this issue aside it is likely a great product, and when it worked for the few hours after unboxing it, I was very happy. I feel let down and will be returning this for a refund. I would urge other buyers to check this issue before buying. Such a shame and not a great start.
