Very good tawa for phulkas
The item was packed perfectly. The tawa is of good quality; rotis get evenly heated. Its easy to clean and not very heavy. The tawa is concave; so its curved and suitable for phulkas. It may be a bit overpriced but the quality is really good. It leaves some rust when water remains on it; but thats expected with an iron tawa. Just a little problem with the tawa handle; it has a bit of iron sticking out which has a sharp end and could hurt. we could fix it easily by fastening a thick tape around it as you can see in the pictures.

Ideal for making perfect phulkis!
This is a heavy concave tawa that heats up evenly. I see a significant difference in the rotis made from this tawa compared to my previous thin ones. I washed it with soda and soap the first couple of times. Then I heated and scrubbed with onion when it was hot. I fried paneer first and did not see it becoming black. That is a good indicator of a well seasoned clean tawa. As with any iron vessel, after every wash, it has to be wiped immediately with a clean cloth and coated with a few drops of oil to prevent rust formation. Highly recommend!

Good Iron/Loha Tava
Tava is very good. Firstly damn cute to look at. Secondly Though i ordered the smaller size by mistake its big enough for phulkas and rotis of regular size.. It definitely looks iron/loha as immediately after washing i noticed a tiny speck of rust on the edge - Seasoned it by rubbing with oil 2-3 times and the top black film (which is normal for iron products) was gone. Its ready for use. As it is concave shape i will now buy the bigger size that can easily be used for making tava sabzi. Came properly wrapped in newspaper and bubble wrap...

After 1 month - disappointed 😶
After 1 monthMy sister used this tawa for 1 month daily for making rotis. Now the iron cover is peeling off. Don't the reason why it's happening. Maybe this is not pure iron tawa. Makers, please use it & then sell it. See pic.I bought this for my sister. I must say it's heavy & I think pure iron also. On heavy tawa rotis don't burn & also saves gas. Besides roti, besan ki papdi, paratha etc can also be easily made. It's sturdy & durable. If you are looking for real tawa for making your cooking easier then without any doubt go for it.

Useful but be careful with pointy end.
The product is simply awesome, this is my 2nd cast iron product in one week, the previous one was Rock tawa 9 inch one.People who have added that there is a pointy projection at the end of the handle are correct and it is bit risky to wash or use with that, hence the moment it arrived i banged some hammer over it 3-5 times gently and the problem was taken care, I don't wanted to tape it, coz during washing with contact with water it will come off and it may then even start to feel sticky and this temporary solution we had to repeat.Hence i hammered it, but I wanted this to be done by manufacturer instead of we household people doing the same.
