Lovely set of books. Arrived the day after ordering.

A lovely set of books I bought to revisit and hopefully share with the next generation. I did find some of the content surprising. A large focus on how the ingalls fed themselves. Which of course in those days was a primary concern. But for a younger reader disconnected from the farming cycle. They may find it a bit challenging. I loved them though!

I was able to find one of these in the US. I knew I needed them all! These are absolutely gorgeous editions! Thank you!

I grew up reading these books. Written as much for the child as for the adult; they show the promise of an emerging nation. The challenges of expansion are detailed although the effects of the European invasion on the indigenous population are never explored.

Absolutely love this. My daughter spend 3 days to finish them all and she really love them. I bought the used like new one And I was so happy as they look just like completely new.
