Great TMPS Tool
I run winter wheels and tyres on all car. So I wanted to be able to swap the 2-sets of wheels around (summer and winter) on each car, without taking the car to a garage for them to program the car's ECU on each swap i.e. twice a year, at the start and end of the winter season. Your reasons might be different to mine but hopefully my findings will be useful to you. Before purchasing, I emailed support at [email protected] to check whether this unit would work on my cars. They were excellent throughout. I contacted them after purchase with any questions I had. There are a few suppliers out there for Autel products (some cheaper) but I purchased from Autel Direct (via Amazon) as I had used up their time and felt it was fair. Also, if the TS508 did not work out, I felt it was easier to return to Amazon than someone I hadn't used before.Without going into the detail of menu options, what was I able to do and what I found it couldn't do:1/ very simple to: turn on, choose Quick Mode, select your car and scan all 4 sensors (the screen moves from one wheel position to the next)2/ this quickly reads the sensor information (hex code, pressure, temp and whether sensor battery is OK) and if you then want to, allows you to store the information onto the car (step below)3/ say you have changed wheels and now want this new information to be uploaded to the car, you connect the ODB2 cable supplied (my connection was in the driver's footwell - so one end of the lead supplied plugs into the car and the other to the TS508), start the car and follow the instructions on the TS508 (basically press Y) and it uploads the information. Mine then displayed No DTC's. I looked up what this meant in the instruction guide: DTC = Data Trouble Code, so no data trouble codes4/ and that's it. So next time I swap over the wheels, I'll follow the same process again and upload the new codes into the car again for the other set of wheelsPlease note !!When taking wheels on and off a car is it easy to mix-up which wheel was in which position. This does not matter if you will then be uploading to the car (step 3 above) i.e. if the position of a wheel has changed it does not matter.I thought I might be able to clone the 2 sets of wheels to have the same codes (and keep a note of what wheel was in what position) and thereby avoid having to connect to the car i.e. the car would see the same hex codes being transmitted even though I'd swapped over say the Summer wheels with the Winter ones. THIS WAS NOT possible with my OEM TPMS sensors. The TS508 is only able to program Autel TPMS sensors, NOT all manufacturers TPMS sensors. That is why you have to tell the car each time you swap wheels. If I was buying a TPMS sensor to replace a failed one, I'd by an Autel one and program it myself, using the TS508. If instead I was buying a wheel/tyre/TPMS sensor from the manufacturer (Mercedes in my case), I'd get them to code the sensor with any code (I think they are blank when new) which I would then read and upload into the car. Please note this is not an exhaustive list of what the device can do. I am not a mechanic so excuse my descriptions. Also, please do not rely on me! Email Autel Direct, as I did, to make sure the TS508 will work for your car and what you are trying to achieve.

Autel tpms
Great tool, does original sensor's & mx-sensors, even gets all the codes from the sensors, without removing tyres, great if you have another set of wheels, or spare you just want to put on.

A great tool for TPMS
This is a great tool for TPMS. I've used it on various cars in my workshop over the last 2 days and its done everything I've needed it to do. Its simple to use and fast with an easy to understand menu. It does as much if not more as some of the more expensive tools. If you work on TPMS systems I would highly recommend purchasing one of these tools.

Need a TPMS Tool??? Look no further!
I work in a independent fast fit centre and wanted my own personal tool for the quick TPMS resets and relearns.. and I am amazed and what this tool can do! I even use it more often than the actual shop tool itself!Worked straight out of the box and did 3 vehicles before I spotted the quick start guide that said how to update the device. The TPMS diagnose function in the advanced menu is the best and most frequently used by myself and is so quick and easy to use also has the ability to printout before and after so not only can you clear warning lights, program and relearn TPMS systems you can provide paperwork as proof!Absolutely Love this tool!!!

Top TPMS tool
I had conducted much research into TPMS tools because cars after 2013 in the UK have a TPMS system on board. As I look after 7 cars in our family together with friends and colleagues and as I prefer to be self-sufficient, I needed a value-for-money TPMS tool rather than relying on potentially uncaring and expensive third-party tyre fitters. This Autel TS508 tool allows easy monitoring of existing TPMS valve data, such as battery condition and valve identity. It also allows cloning of new Autel MX valves which are a fraction of the cost of dealer OE valves but are themselves of OE quality. Lifetime software updates are yet another benefit.. Other TPMS tools are available but they are much more expensive. Altogether, I'm really pleased with this TPMS tool.
