I bought this to go with a larger set of unpolished rocks and minerals I'd purchased. Together, they make an excellent collection. We were surprised and very pleased to find arrowheads in this set. The rocks and minerals are a good size and having them polished really emphasizes some of the beautiful qualities of them. The display case is not very attractive but it is adequate. It comes with a chart showing names and photos of the samples and has a few interesting facts about each one on the back. This is a nice supplemental collection at a reasonable price. I recommend it.

I grew up collecting rocks and still love them, so when my 5-year-old expressed interest I bought this little set for her. Each stone was very nice and was easy to identify to the picture that came along. It was lots of fun to match them in the box in the same order as the accompanying picture guide. Great starter set and a perfect gift for young school aged kids!

Finally, a rock collection with each specimen present and actually identifiable!The rocks are a good size.The packaging kept them safe during shipment.Includes a full color sheet with the images, and a description of each on the back side.I’ve purchased so many disappointing rock sets, until now.It’s a Christmas gift for a young rock collector, so prior to wrapping, I unpacked and arranged the rocks, copied the image and taped it to the box top. The arrowheads seem very fragile, so wrapped them in felt for protection.Best set. Very pleased with it.

This was a great rock collection for my granddaughter’s birthday. It arrived promptly and in good condition. Dancing Bear Rocks and Minerals responded immediately about what I thought was a missing item (arrowheads were in a separate bag that had fallen out of box when I opened it) I highly recommend . The box arrived and its contents were as described on the website. The rocks are a decent size for a young beginner rock enthusiast. Two arrow-heads were placed in a small plastic bag. The tumbled rocks were packed in a bubble-wrap bag. A piece of pyrite and a small section of geode amethyst were in the bag. They should have been packed individually since they were rather fragile and liable to being damaged.In conclusion, it is a well-packaged introductory box to interest children in rocks. The rocks might interest ages 6-10+, or even adults.

Stones were beautiful and the chart was great.

I look forward to giving this set to y grandsons for Christmas. He is 6 years old, and this lovely set willBe just perfect for him
