Nice item for specific uses but could be better
This item will work if you plan on potting directly into it. I prefer to leave my plants inside the grow pot and nest into the decorative planter so that I can bottom water.A standard 2 inch square plastic grow pot will not fit in this - possibly due to the hexagon shape. A circular pot will fit, but the lip will be too tall. These feel like obvious overnights as the pot only needs to be about a quarter inch wider and taller to work.That said, I also deducted a point because the saucer is oversized for the pot (makes no sense) and there's a ridiculous amount of plastic/Styrofoam packaging. I ordered similar pots from another manufacturer and that packaging was mostly recyclable compared to this one.I am still awaiting the square shape will review that one separately.
