Baden Champions Portable Badminton Set Regulation Net, 4 Racquets, 3 Shuttlecocks, Boundary & Carry Bag Ideal for Backyard Fun with Friends and Family from Kids to Adults

Did a bit of research before purchasing and we are very pleased with this set. It sets up fairly easily - the first time took maybe 20-25 min but subsequent set-ups have been about 15. The first time took a little longer because we had some trial & error deciding where in our yard was the best location to put it. The posts of the net do not drive into the ground - they sit on the ground and the whole thing stays up due to the tension on the two tethers at each end of the net. The tethers stake into the ground in four places with metal stakes that work quite well. You'll need a rubber mallet (or a rock or a shoe) to pound the stakes in. The bag is nice and sturdy and all stores in there pretty easily. We usually don't put the whole net in there when not in use, just the rackets and birdies. We kind of just roll up the net and put the bag and net in a storage bench on our deck. The net will sag a bit if you leave it set up outside for a day or two - just have to rearrange the posts a little and re-stake it to pull the tension more. Badminton nets are generally kind of low but when we first set this up, we thought it looked TOO low. The more tension you can get in the black tether cords, the better. Definitely need 3 people to set up properly.

Nice Set. Shuttlecocks work well and should last a bit, 4 will hold us for a few weeks. Net is a nice size -I really don't need 32' of netting, 20' is more than adequate. Height is perfect for badminton. Set up is easy. Today I took it down to mow and then set it back up including re-staking the supports. It took no time at all and one person can do it alone. Rackets are nice and with a wee bit of care and respect should last a good amount of time. While removing the packaging from one of the grips, the plastic pulled the grip with it and broke the grip tape. Under normal use the grips should last. Just be careful when unpacking. I did purchase new grips from Amazon and am happy with how they installed. Anyway, this is a first rate set and great for kids. This set comes with a rational storage/carrying bag. Unlike in other instances, I will use this one.

Probably the best quality back yard badminton set Ive ever seen! The easy to use boundary is a classy addition.

Easy to set up, great quality, bright color, thoughtful boundary rope, everything needed is in one bag, optional net height adjustment for another game. And it’s affordable. We left the net out for the season. Hope it will last.

This is a great set. I have a family full of badminton fanatics. We were constantly going through cheap sets from chain retail stores. The nets were always a pain to setup, the ropes would tangle and the net would eventually sag after a day in the wind. I set out to find a good quality set and I was willing to pay good money for one. This set was more than double what I was paying for the cheap sets I was cycling through almost every year. I was hesitant it was worth the money, but I am glad I did it! This set is the real deal. The metal posts are light weight yet sturdy and well coated to protect from the elements. The rope and netting is made from a durable, strong tension cording. Maybe it’s the quality, but the stuff doesn’t tangle! I need my Christmas lights to be made out of this! The racquets are firm, but just the right amount of flexibility. So far they have held up to my young children who like to hit more than just birdies with the racquets. That says a lot, because I usually end up replacing racquets every year thanks to my curious kids. The carrying case is a nice way to keep everything together. Like the actual set, straight up good quality. It’s surprisingly tough material for a simple case. The birdies were great too. Looks like I’m going to end my season without having to replace my set! Overall, well worth the money.

Very happy with our purchase! We also purchased the horseshoe set from Baden and everything seems to be well made and easy to store when not in use due to the bag(s) that come with the products. Love our purchase!!

We find the set to be well-made, easy to assemble, and good looking (and incredibly fun). After we set it up we discovered that the net had a couple weaving defects in it that created tight, tangled spots that could not be untangled. I contacted Baden Customer Support and they were very responsive and polite and are sending a replacement net right away. We are very happy with the set and with Baden's prompt and professional response to our issue.

After reading all of the excellent reviews online, I bought this set to take as a gift to my son and his family during a recent visit to their home. I was really impressed with the quality of the equipment and the ease of setting up the net and boundary lines. We began playing and enjoying the family fun on a picture perfect summer day. However, within 24 hours all three of the shuttlecocks had split and the tape was coming off of two of the four rackets. How disappointing! The description says "tournament level quality badminton racquets" but I hardly see how these rackets could hold up for very long. Because we had traveled 500 miles, I left the set there instead of returning it. I plan to send them new shuttlecocks and better quality rackets. This would have been a five star review had the quality of the rackets and shuttlecocks matched the quality of the net. I hope the manufacturer reads this review because you have a really great product except for these flaws.
