Q: is this tree supposed to be flashing randomly?

The tree lights do not flash randomly. This birch tree lights are bright and beautiful.

Q: Can I connect a dimmer to this tree lights are too bright for my living room

Q: I would like to use this for a display at craft shows. How small can you pack it and how much does it weigh?

It would pack tall and skinny in a corner with no problem. You could probably leave iit together and push all of the branches up. It is also very, very light. It would be very nice as a lighted display in a store front.

Q: the lights on the 4 foot tree turn off for a second and then turn right back on. is that by design? or is there an issue with the electrical?

Ours are on a dusk to dawn timer. If they only do that when you turn them on I wouldn't worry about it. Love our little trees.
