Q: What are the dimensions of the bulbs? (not the packaging)

Q: What is the wattage? We have bought bulbs but they are too bright (40 w).

This bulb is about 2W Have no concern about being too bright! These lamps are for looking at, not illuminating a space. The amount of light made would be comparable to that of a single candle.

Q: If the bulb hangs upside like for a pendant light, does the flame adjust accordingly?

It works the same upside-down but the bulbs only illuminate what a night light does. I bought a bigger ones but they die quick. It used magnets to bend the filament back and forth
