This is by far the best paraffin wax bath that I've purchased over the years. First one with a metal melting pot and it sure melts the wax much faster. And it is big enough to put your feet in, one at a time. My others weren't large enough to do feet. Money very well spent!! I would definitely recommend!

Unit came with all wax and accessories as promised in the ad. Very complete instructions. It worked fine on the first use. But on the next use it did not heat up at all. I emailed them and they immediately sent a new complete replacement with all accessories. They did not require return of the old unit. It works fine now. I think they had a defective batch, as they tracked the serial number. Once they get rid of these in their inventory I expect this issue will resolve.

Temperature is very adjustable and stable. Melts wax slowly, but they all do and it seems reasonably insulated with the exception of the top, which is just a clear plastic lid. Provided wax is purple but not very stinky, and I'm very picky on this one.The one caveat is that they do not include enough wax to do the job. My wife has very small hands and she couldn't get the tops of them down in the wax. It looks like a lot of packages of wax, but they are very small and this is an above-average size melter. We had some extra wax here that wasn't used with the old machine so it wasn't a problem for us, but be forewarned. Had they included an appropriate amount of wax for the size of the machine, it would have gotten that one more elusive star.

I bought the Karite Paraffin Bath on the recommendation of my occupational therapist to faciliate my rehabilitation after a serious hand and wrist injury. The bath has help increase my flexibility for the exercises program and helped with pain management. Unfortunately after 5 treatments using the bath the unit stopped heating the paraffin wax. I called the company and talked with Elan. My call was promptly taken, Elan was polite and supportive in hearing my issue. He quickly diagnosed the problem which resulted in sending me a new unit. I recieved the new unit in within 7 days! Elan did a follow-up email to see if I was satisfied with the unit. I was very pleased and happy with Karite Paraffin Bath unit and the customer serivce.

Quickly heats the wax, my hands have never been so soft!

I received my Karite Paraffin Wax machine, complete with wax and the supplies for hands and feet, timely. The box was torn in one corner (it was damaged during shipping-this was NOT Karite's fault). The machine did not seem to be damaged. Before starting the machine I contacted Karite customer service to express my concern, and I sent them a photo of the box damage. Karite customer service was very polite. I was offered some compensation for the box damage. Thankfully the machine has functioned flawlessly every day since Day One. It's a very nice product. And I am thankful for the excellent customer service I received from Karite. I highly recommend this product for the reasons stated above. Thank you Karite!

I haven’t even dipped my hands in it, yet. After the paraffin sat at the recommended “F 127” temperature for about 40 minutes, I tested it with a ThermoPro digital candy thermometer (fairly new), and it read 133 degrees Fahrenheit, so I dropped it down to F 120 for about 30 minutes.The lid “handle” is difficult to grasp. It slipped from my fingers and a corner fell in. It splashed and made a little mess (onto my shirt as well). I tried to clean it off as best as I could (see photo) which made my hands numb (wrong direction I wanted to go with this). I am already in pain from cooking all day yesterday for Christmas. This is supposed to HELP.I think later I will glue a hand strap to the top so I can manipulate the lid more securely. I have triple-crush syndrome in my hands, so I recommend to anyone who is getting this for hand therapy for pain etc., to fix the lid, first. My family got this for me as my Christmas gift to help me with hand pain and mobility. I will make this work!
