This is an amazing appliance! Just the right size easy to move and lift the bowl at 3.5 quarts is perfect. Every attachment that KitchenAid makes fits the head. Of course the bowl and the beaters are specific to the mini. We have replaced 4 appliances for this one little guy. This is an excellent investment.

I also have the professional model but found it to large fir a now empty nest. Love this model! It’s strong, efficient and easy to use.

Want to do many things, then go bigger.
If all you want to do, like me is make cookies and muffins, this smaller unit has been just fine for me. If you are looking to do a good deal more, you will probably want the larger sized one. It has really saved me a good deal of time and effort with what I am using it for.

Broken after about 20 uses
My husband got a refurbished model for me for Christmas and I don’t bake tons, after about one year ~20 uses it completely broke. Wouldn’t suggest getting a refurbished model.
