Update: Ecokind's customer service team is AMAZING! They reached out to me after my previous review and took the time to better understand the issues. They explained that sometimes the chews can become brittle during warehouse storage which causes the problems I was having. Since then, they have sent me a new package of chews to replace the ones that were below their standards. I will absolutely continue purchasing their products-my dog loves them and so do I! Thank you!Original review: This is the 2nd time I’ve purchased these and feel like they weren’t as great as the first purchase. They didn’t seem to last as long and some of the sticks were quite a bit smaller than others in the same package. My dog still loves them but not sure about consistency.

I was a little skeptical when I first saw yak cheese chews, I wasn’t sure how they would be received. How hard is dried cheese and from yaks? But wow, these have turned out to be an absolute favorite in our house. My dog goes nuts for them. They’re long-lasting and don’t stink like some other natural chews. They don’t splinter like bones or rawhide, so I don’t worry about choking, but do break off sometimes and leave little hard bits lodged in the carpet.

My dog is an aggressive chewer of toys and bones. These are the perfect supplement. While they are pricey, they are definitely worth it! These are tough and long lasting. They don't make a mess and they satisfy my dog immensely. My dog is a staffy, boxer, mastiff mix and he really enjoys these yak chews. I buy them regularly and the quality is really good.

I have been buying these for a few years now, and, unfortunately, I think it's time to switch to a different brand. The quality has gone way down on my last few bags. One bag arrived with mostly broken sticks, and the last bag seems even worse. The sticks arrived in one piece this time, but my dogs chew them up like they are nothing. All you can hear is snapping and popping as they break the sticks into pieces and chew them up. They can eat these almost as fast as a busy bone.One of the dogs is almost seven years old, and has been getting these sticks most of her life. She didn't suddenly hulk out and gain the ability snap steel with her jaws, the sticks are just very brittle and easy to break.Sorry to go on and on, but I have one last point. I tried to cut a stick in half the first time I bought them and couldn't even make much of a dent. Now, if the stick is long enough, I can snap it in my hands. I definitely didn't hulk out over the last few years.Update 4/20/25 - The company reached out to me and sent a replacement bag. The new sticks were much better and i haven't noticed any quality issues. My dogs are gradually wearing down these treats instead of snapping pieces off and chewing them up. No more crunching. I updated my review to 4 stars for their customer service (something most companies gave up on) and will try the product again in the future.

My dog loves these.bshes a 5mo old chewing machine. I wanted something safe with as few ingredients as possible to help her safely squelch her chewing on things she os not supposed to. These did the trick. They last forever, and don't smell stinky like beef sticks do.

Our dog loves these and even asks for it in a very understandable way. The yaks are food in a hard stick. We just watch the size of it and when it gets small we microwave it so that it “blows up” to become a safe piece to eat when the small piece wouldn’t be good for him. They are a bit pricey but last a long time. Highly recommend if your dog likes to chew.

Both my dogs love this treat. I have been looking for a chew that will last for my puppy who is an active chewer. This works.

My dog loves these and I love this is a safer option than bones or rawhide. They last pretty long and keep him busy. My only complaint is that they can be hit or miss in terms of size, and we sometimes receive one or two broken ones in a package. Overall still a really solid buy! I’m pretty sure my dog would sell me for one of these haha.
