Never repair lawnmower before
Perfect fit easy to install. works great. Lawnmower and works better than when it was new. always had to pull 3 or 4 times to get it to start. Now it starts first pull. I have never worked on a lawnmower before but I was able to install it easily.

Fits MTD Yard machine self-propelled mower 140cc
Got it, installed it and works great. It is an exact match to the one I broke a few days ago. It was challenging to find this correct part because MTD does not reference the part no. in the owner's manual. Getting the old assembly out of the cover and snapping the new one in was hard for me, but I am not very strong. Also, there seems to be a "sweet spot" about 180 degrees relative to the pull handle when held upside down.

Great pull start
Mower pull start broke. This was a perfect replacement. Went in easy and worked first pull. Highly recommend!!

Defective and doesn't work.
Installed on a Craftsman Silver series rear discharge walk behind mower with a 140cc 5.0hp B&G engine. Easy to install but binds and does not recoil.
