10 gig through the attic no problem
We have an older home without structured wiring that I ran CAT5 from the upstairs bedrooms through the attic when we first moved in, which all comes together up there with a patch panel and a switch. I had recently upgraded the home network to 2.5 gig (yes, short runs of CAT5 are good enough) and the switches I'm using also came with 10 gig SFP+ ports. This is my first experience with fiber and I figured why not see what happens? I used this plenum fiber to connect the attic switch with the one in the office. I attached the fiber with painters tape to the cable puller by carefully taking the top 8-ish inches of the fiber with the connectors and bending it over on to itself, but still leaving a loop without a crease in it, to create some protection for the connectors as I pulled it through the ceiling. That worked with no issues. The position labels were helpful to validate that my send and receive were correct. The fiber run allowed me to use the CAT5 cable as WAN in to the office from FIOS and create my own IPFIRE Firewall with a TRIGKEY G5 Dual 2.5 gig LAN Mini PC instead of using their router hardware in the garage where the Verizon ONT is located. Very fun project and IPFIRE is a piece of cake to install and run. Plus, if you want wired security and the option to use access points in your own configuration, this is really the only way to go, and you won't need to rent or purchase Verizon's over-priced equipment.

Everything I needed!
Using this paired with 10Gtek for Mellanox MFM1T02A-SR, 10Gb/s SFP+ Transceiver module, 10GBASE-SR, MMF, 850nm, 300-meter, to use with Four Luxul AMS-4424P switches in stacked mode and it works flawlessly. For those who do not know, managed switches that support stacked mode and ARE being used in stack mode, act as one huge switch where you only need the IP of the master switch and only will be logged into it's web server. Firmware updates, reboots etc will affect all of them at once yet still allow fine grained port settings for each switch in the stack. VLANs apply to the whole stack not just one switch. This model of switch I use only allows 10gb connections between switches via SFP. The thing I like about the MMF I used is that it is so much less bulky than copper and collisions are impossible since there is one fiber for each direction so they can be very far apart and still behave as one huge switch in one spot. This is great quality cable at a very reasonable price.

Haven't had a problem, but why pay twice as much if you don't need plenum? On a 1 Meter cable ?
This cable has been running fine, but I have had to move and don't need the 7 meter cable now, I need a shorter cable, about 2 meters.(AMAZON WON'T LET ME REVIEW THE 1 METER CABLE SEPARATELY)This cable just ran around the wall so I paid twice as much for a plenum cable and didn't use the feature, but I didn't realize it at the time.I also purchased several 1 meter cables. Seriously, How many people need a 1 meter Plenum rated fiber cable, and need to pay the extra price for the plenum feature ? Sure, there is someone out there that has to go thru a wall and wants the equipment to put right against both walls. 8)This time I am purchasing cables from the Ipolex Store (https://www.amazon.com/stores/page/CD7F51FA-7930-447B-B992-6E4CF751F1F9), on Amazon and paying less than half the cost of this cables from Cables Matter, so it's a big savings and will allow me to increase the number of connections (including the cost of the SFPs) and still save money.

Installed without breakage or issue.
I found these patch cables to work reliably, completing my fiber connection without issue. They can be easily changed from straight through connections to crossovers where needed. As a first timer installing fiber I was worried that I would break one of these when changing to a straight through connection, but that wasn't an issue for me. No broken connections and easy to install. The caps work to keep the ends clean until needed. I am happy with how these performed.

Great Cheap Fiber
I've bought a lot of cable matters stuff and have come to trust that they will offer good cables for great prices, sure they aren't literally the best out there, but plenty good for most uses. My Multimode Duplex fiber is working exactly as expected an the connectors are high quality.

Great cheap Fiber cable
I added a 10gbe ethernet card to my PC. Used this cable with SFP+ and connected to my 10gbe aggregate switch. Works perfectly. Exactly what I needed to make this happen. Will buy again when I need more fiber in the future.

Cables look great and work perfectly!
Needed to connect a 8 Port Ubiquiti POE switch to a 48 Port Ubiquiti switch using SFP connectors. The Ubiquiti SFP connectors are very reasonable and the Cable Matters cables look great and work perfectly. Probably could have gotten shorter cables. I need to finalize some cable management :-)

Love this fiber
Best fiber for the price. Super flexible with good LC connections. I have yet to get line speed out of them but I doubt that has anything to do with these cables.
