I've never fitted a tap before, had to get a few tools to remove the old one but fitting this as the replacement was child's play.

Nice tap but not compatible with UK fittings
This is a nice tap, and the "easy fit" feature really is just that, allowing you to install the tap without any tools, which is a godsend when the sink is already in situ, making it hard to reach at the back.I've docked two stars because the pipe tails are a European size so won't connect into UK isolating valves. This wasn't mentioned anywhere in the details. While it does say 3/8", this isn't going to mean much to most DIYers, who (like me) will assume that all pipe tails are a standard fitting.Unless you already had a Grohe tap then you're going to need special adaptors. After chasing around plumbers merchants all day, I found that the adaptors these sell aren't suitable for DIYers, as they don't connect straight into the isolating valves and require additional pipework.I recommend a pair of "Ibergrif M3/8 to M1/2 UK compression adaptors", available on Amazon. These screw into the isolating valves, then the tap tails screw into the adaptor.Also note that the tails are preinstalled on this tap, so you can't simply replace them with UK tails.
