Bug barrier spray
Living in South Carolina near the low country means lots of mosquitos when it starts to warm up. I like to spend a lot of time in my garden planting, growing and maintaining the looks of my yard. I needed something that I could spray or apply that did not contain a lot of chemicals as I am also fair skinned and need to wear sun block. I decided to try this brand as it is more of a natural repellant. It works and did not cost a lot of money. If you are looking for more of a natural bug spray, use this one.

Holy Moly, I Can Hardly Believe It
Ok, I basically never leave reviews, because I just don't have the time. But knowing how much I rely on others' reviews to help me find things that work, I feel it my duty to share.I bought this a month ago for my 3- and 4-year-old kids, especially. We live in DC (which is a swampy, humid, mosquito-breeding steamroom in the summer), and the mosquitoes are just awful and relentless. My kids love to play outside, both at their daycare and at home, but they've just been getting eaten alive, and my daughter gets really bad reaction and swelling when she gets bitten. It's been so bad that, prior to using Murphy's Repellant, they'd only stay in the yard a couple minutes before coming inside, covered in painful mosquito bites. I'd been using a different repellant (Sallye Ander No-Bite-Me Bug Repellent Cream - 2 oz, Natural, Safe for Kids & Infants, Anti-Itch, Moisturizing, Lemongrass & Mint Scent), which smelled pretty good but was sadly not very effective. Back to the drawing board, I did more research and found Murphy's. The reviews seemed promising, but honestly, I've tried so many non-DEET repellants over the years and none of them have worked very well and are always a disappointment. So I didn't have high hopes for this one.Well, my kids' skin doesn't lie! This stuff has worked shockingly well! We apply it in the morning around 8 am before heading to their daycare (they spend a lot of time outdoors there at the on-site playgrounds). It is effective up through pick up, which is around 4:30/5pm. Then if they want to play outside when we get home, we do have to reapply one time, but that will last them the rest of the evening. It's like...night and day. When my daughter has it on, she plays happily outside. When she doesn't, if she plays outside anyway, she comes in crying in 5 minutes from 5-10 painful mosquito bites. My son doesn't get so upset by bites, but I can see them on his skin when he gets them, and since we started using this, he very rarely has bites on him. Here's a quick pro/con list.PRO:-WORKS (at least for us)-Effective even in humid, mosquito-swarming environments-Easy to apply, and after several minutes, it soaks in completely and leaves no greasy or unpleasant residueCONS:-the smell is rather strong when applying and for about 10 minutes after application (but it does dissipate)-it's a bit pricey (but worth it, since it works!)I hope this review is helpful to other folks looking for EFFECTIVE, non-DEET, non-greasy mosquito repellant!

No Bites
This product works well. Some people may object to the smell whereas others like it. The spray bottle tends to stop working after a while and of course doesn’t work up side down.

Perfect bug spray for humid locations
Have to add my review after a week long trip in Central America - this stuff works! We were out and about on the beach and the jungle and protected with this amazing bug spray. Highly, highly recommend if you want to go explore muggy, humid locations with lots of bugs.

its not complete essential oils in it - take care before you use it
I am an allergy person with lots of allergies and have to take care more than normal what i use - at that point i did not took care enough for myself. i used it cause i had 2 mosquitos in my bedroom and could not get rid of them for over 8 days so i was thinking okay i take this oils and make it on my skin and thats it.The Scent is (for me and my dogs) really heavy, my dogs went out of my bedroom cause of that scent and that mean a lot to me and after i had it on my skin it began to itching and burning without ending, so i had to wash it away quickly - my face was red like a tomato after that and it hurted a lot. So i took the bottle and wanted to know whats in side - 30% oils and 70% unknown - so that unknown declaration is chemical i guess - and the scent in my bedroom was so heavy that i sleept on my couch in the livingroom and had to open all the windows over night what is in florida not usual like you can imagine.so i am not with that product and i took it away, can not send it back. No money back garanty if you are allergic against it. Thats Life....Be careful about your health and the health of your family - i am not recommend this product - sorry!

Love this Product
My Bella got stung by a nesting of European hornets on a couple of our walks. I sprayed this on her and we had better walks and no more attacks!
