This is an excellent utility knife ~ Ergonomically designed for comfortable use ~ High quality product
I had purchased a package of Stanley knife blades to use in my old utility knife. When I opened the package, oil was dripping from the blades and got all over my clothes. While I realize that it's necessary to have oil on blades, the Stanley blades had so much excess oil that I ended up throwing them in the trash, along with my old knife.I checked the reviews on Amazon and decided to give the Klein Tools utility knife a try. Far superior to my old knife, this one is ergonomically designed, and very easy on your hands. You can use it for long periods of time, without any discomfort. The cutting quality is first rate, and the rubber handle grips make it feel nice in your hands. The internal blade storage area holds 6 additional blades. The bottom line is that this is the best utility knife that I've used to date. It's very high quality, feels good in your hands, and does a great job of cutting without having to use a lot of force.

Great quality and function
The best utility knife I've ever owned. Overall quality of the construction, fit and finish, operation and features are perfect. Ergonomics are perfect, fits my hand well and at the correct angle and I have large hands. The blade extension has notches to adjust blade length, blade change is a breeze and the blade storage compartment is adequate and functions as additional grip. All in all a great knife, you won't be disappointed.

Superb tool. Strongly recommend.
Klein makes superb tools and this utility knife is one of them. Solid. Feels good in my hand. Easy to use. Easy to change blades. Stores extra blades. I like the gray buttons enabling me to easily change blades and to easily access the blade storage.Strongly recommend.

Orange marks on wall.
This is my favorite utility knife out of many and the blades are the best I have ever used. If you cut at a really low angle it will leave an orange mark on the wall. Klein should change tip to a polished metal that won't mark.

Very Durable
All my other utility knives would break on the sliding portion rendering it useless. I've had this one for months and it still works like new.

Congratulations Klein
I would design a knife exactly the same as this one.Large for man hands, small tip for smaller work. This is the largest utility knife I've held. It feels right. Grips are in the right places and there are no poorly placed seams or pinch spots. True tool-less blade changes and the blade is held solidly. I will buy 2 more to replace the old trusty primitive ones I have.

A very mediocre knife
What a disappointment! I expected better from Klein. The mechanism that retracts the blade is very rough. It seems to bind a bit when you slide it. It's usable, but annoying. The cover over the spare blade compartment does not fit very well, so it is a bit loose when closed. As a result, the handle does not feel very solid. The overall quality is not in keeping with Klein's usual standards.
