Retro-Bit Tribute 64 Wired N64 Controller for Nintendo 64 - Original Port - (Classic Grey)

I bought this on a whim as i was bored of the original n64 controller and what a purchase!It has the responsiveness of a current gen controller which gives all the old classics that much more replay value as i now have a controller that gives me that edge.Would highly recommend.

My intention was to replace the Control Stick with a Hall Effect Control Stick but after opening one up, I found this was not possible.I also found that the PCB board inside is too difficult to remove from their posts which could make cleaning these Controllers difficult in the future.Besides that, I like these Controllers. In comparison to the original Tri-Wing Controllers:- I find the buttons are kinder on the hands but equally as responsive.- The ergonomics though a little strange are easy to adapt to.- The Controller is considerably lighter to hold (not cheap) and they sport nice flexible cables.If you just want a wired N64 Controller that isn't nearly 30 years old that will last you a good while, these Controllers are a great option . . . Unless you have really long fingers.
