I seem to have a bit of hair breakage and hair loss in my later years and sadly or gladly I’m hoping it’s now new hair growth but they just stand up like I’ve got some sort of static spikey hair thing going on and it looks awful. After scrolling through all the products came across this which my friend does use a similar product but not this so thought I’d try. I’m happy with it. You don’t need to coat it, just a little brush and not bad at all. I did swipe probably too much and it does go hard but a little finger movement you can work it. The stray hairs stay down, I’m happy with this product.

I bought these out of sheer frustration on a whim because I am so sick of the humidity causing my baby hairs to stick up all over the place. I have thin post partum hair and some new hairs growing, so I figured worst case I would use this to comb the hair in such a way to cover the balding spots but I’m actually really impressed with it. It holds well and I can see this is going to become a staple in my daily routine, which is good since it’s a pack of 2. It’s made me feel so much better about the state of my hair and given me a little bit of confidence back. I did see the reviews saying some had arrived broken but like are both fine and the delivery was very quick. Removing a say because I have found that with longer hairs at the back of my head the wand head gets tangled and I have to pull it out, due to how the hair and is shaped, but I have him as I get used to the technique this will improve.

My daughter and I both use these hair slickers when we want to tie our hair back. We both get little shorter strands of hair come loose that stick out and these hair slickers are perfect at preventing that. My daughter takes one to school in case her hair starts to stick out during the day. I would say we both use it about once or twice a week and each one will last for a few months. They are easy to use both before hair is tied back and while it is tied back for a touch up.

This product is ok and does stick my baby hairs down but only for an hour or so. When I top it up again it starts to make my hair feel quite hard and look a little greasy. It does make my hair look extra shiny though.

Maybe it's just my curly hair, but this is terrible! I used this for the first time when I put my hair up in a ponytail, just using the wand to slick it back. I had really high hopes for this but it ruined my hair! I slicked it down but instead of getting rid of the flyaways it causes them! It pushes back the hair, but then when you take the wand off of your head it pulls the hair with it, so you end up having stringy and frizzy bits of hair poking out of the back of your ponytail. I also found that after a couple hours your hair goes really crisp and crunchy, I couldn't run my hands through my roots because it was actually hard and rough. And the final thing that completely ruined this for me was it made my hair so itchy! I wash my hair twice a week and it never gets dry/oily or itchy, I've never had issues so when my hair got itchy after putting this on I was confused. It was about 6+ hours after applying this I noticed. I'd washed my hair just two days ago so I knew it couldn't be dandruff or anything, and I don't really suffer with that anyways. So went to bed with an itchy head, and I woke up, looked in the mirror, my hair was so greasy! Only at the roots where I put the gel on. Since I have curly hair, dry hair is much more of a problem then oily hair so again, really weird for me. This all traced back to this product, and I'm so disappointed! Had to wash and condition my hair because the state of it was horrid. I have otherwise healthy hair, not allergic to anything, so I've been really upset. Please go lightly when applying this and take into consideration your hair type, and whether it's sensitive/dry etc.
