I'm not one to often write reviews, but after wearing this lipstick all day, I really felt I needed to. I bought the orange, as I tend to wear coral/nude shades, including in my blush colors. I remember mood lipsticks from the 70s and 80s, and they were HORRIBLE, but I saw a review of these and thought I'd give it try just for kicks. When it arrived and I opened the tube, I was skeptical. Then I put it on. My lips became the PERFECT shade for me and my complexion and for my color preferences. I put it on at 0730 this morning. It is now 1600 (4PM). I have eaten lunch and a snack, drank coffee and water, and yes, I smoke (no judgements, please!) The color is still on and looks perfect. I even had my new driver's license picture taken wearing it after not retouching ALL DAY. This lipstick in this color is going on my "subscribe and save" order! The color is smooth, my lips feel moisturized, and there is no taste. LOVE IT!

Such a fun idea and looks good in every color I've tried. The lipstick goes on smooth and stays put all day--no coming off on water bottle or glass rims, no bleeding. Even the red--a color that almost always has some bleed stays perfectly. I find everything goes a little brighter on me than the swatches shown which I assume has to do with the ph/body temp response but I have looked great in all of them so it's still a win in my book.

I love this lipstick. Specifically the brown lipstick. It stains my lips a pretty red coral color. My lips pretty much are stained all day! It’s amazing! When I apply it I don’t ever put it on full force because it can be really bright on me. It takes about 5 minutes to show full color too but when it does, it’s beautiful! I like applying it, waiting, and then taking some of it off with a piece of paper towel. I like to use a little bit of lip liner and then lip balm on top! I always go back to this lipstick when I want something to last all day. It’s my go to every day lip color for the past 5 years. It doesn’t smell or taste like anything in my opinion. I won’t ever trade this for anything. I highly recommend.💯

It stays on but wish it was not as bright.

Not the same as before, seems formula has changed. With my old lipstick , just one swipe will color my lips and will last a long time , will leave a tint on my lips throughout the day. Now with the new, it's hard and need to swipe a couple of times to even see some color, doesn't seem to change color too and not long lasting. A Star because the color is not overly pink this time.

I first saw this product in a catalog, but thought I should check Amazon. I have found that if I check Amazon, many times, I can save $$$. I have never used this exact product before, but several years ago, I had used a similar product. I liked it, so decided to give this product a try. If you are wanting something to give you a little color, this is for you. No taste or smell and is great for moisturizing. When the time comes, I will order it again.

I have been using MOODmatcher lipsticks for quite awhile and like that there is a variety of colors to pick from. Just be aware, though, that the color in the tube is not going to be the color it turns out on your lips. Your body chemistry and lip pigment coloring affect the outcome of the color. So a blue will not be blue on your lips but maybe pinkish, mauve or rose, etc. depending on your coloring. I have warm coloring so I pick warm shades of lipstick like the red or brown. On me the brown turns out to be a warm terracotta shade. These lipsticks are somewhat moisturizing although I have found I do have to reapply during the day for the moisturizing effect. The reason for 4 stars is because the color will wear off some and leave smudges on a cup or drinking glass. I've found after applying the lipstick it helps to blot it some to remove a little excess and the smudging is lessened. The color does stain your lips and will last through most of the day and for the price it beats other lipsticks especially for just a casual fun lipstick.

This lipstick gives the lips a stain that last all day and doesn’t come off on a coffee mug or straw. It also keeps the lips moist.
