Battleship TURTLE SHIP Model Kits Korean Classic Warship Wood by Young Modeler

I have always loved to paint & draw, but I am less of a 3D person. That is, until I built this 🐢 boat in January 2024! The laser cut pieces were so precise that even the flag, the anchor & the spikes were easy to remove. The instructions were so precise that there were 76 PHOTOS 😲 for the building-impaired like myself 😂! Young Modelers is a class act and I thank them for 2 days of creative FUN w/results that I am so proud of! 👍😊

I was hesitant based on the one review about pieces not sized correctly, but I did not find this the case at all. On the contrary, the pieces fit well and were very nicely (cut by laser?) organized. This model seems to give you a good idea of the structure of the turtle boat. My one star off is for the places in the instructions that only had Korean notes. Not that hard to guess what they were saying, but still they should have included English. Also, the packet of glue they include is a nice gesture, but unless you are going to make the boat in one sitting (not at all difficult if you have a couple of hours), it is not so useful.Note: I would also glue the cannons in. It does not say to do so, and I didn't, but when doing later work on the boat, some cannons slipped inside, and by that time, the top was in place and so it is very hard to get the cannons from inside and reset them.

The end product is not bad and the assembly is straight forward. But it does make it difficult when the glue included is not very effective.. and wasn’t easy to put together in overall.

I really liked this model. It was very straight forward. I did have to sand some parts down but it was not big deal. I recommend using a glue that dries quickly since the one provided takes a little long to dry. Overall a good Saturday morning !
